Hello. Thank you for visiting my channel. My musical hope is to be part of beautiful settings and to enhance the settings by playing rock & roll songs and Americana songs in the classical guitar style (often called fingerstyle guitar). I will sing a few tunes and pick old time banjo tunes as well. I enjoy a main stage as well as being in the corner. Often, I'm part of the scene, playing as folks are enjoying great food, wine/craft beer, letting the stress vanish, conversing without shouting and commenting as they leave, "The guitar music was really very nice. We'll be back!". In addition, my goal is to provide peaceful moments for listeners and my hope is that the peaceful moments will remind the listeners of the author of peace - Jesus. I go by SEB Guitar as well as Steve Blechschmidt. My last name can be cumbersome to retype. Enjoy this day we have been given!
Windy and Warm performed by Steve Blechschmidt
The last time I saw Tommy Emmanuel in concert, he said "I wrote a lot of songs, but none better than this one". This is Windy and Warm. Written by John Loudermilk and made popular by many, including Chet Atkins.

Classical Gas (Mason Williams) performed by Two Guitars Telling A Story

This is our take on a classic instrumental guitar song. We play the song as a guitar duet. When pursuing the song license, I spoke directly with Mason. He would not allow us to license the song until he approved our take on the song. Mason approved. Here is what he told me, "“Steve, I checked it out, nice chops on both your guys' parts, great take on all the arrangement ideas. Send me (3) when ...

Warning… this song might make you feel uneasy. The song was put on my heart to write. As I was observing people's actions during these divided times, I realized two paths' people take. Some people form an opinion, then shout out their “answers”. This approach can abuse and de-humanize others. In contrast, there seems to be people who remain quiet and respond to an external tug to help others re...

Hello giarome. Thank you for taking the time to listen. I hope Legnosa or woody is a good description in your eyes. Take good care. Steve
I meant it is not fluid…sorry but that's what I think. hello and congratulations anyway
I am seventy years old and I have been playing amateur for more than 50 years
@@giarome Hi Giarome. No worries at all. And thank you for the honest feedback. Yes fluidity is so very important and I agree that my playing can be wooden at times. More practice, practice, practice..
@@giarome Well, I'm not far behind, I'm 62. I started playing guitar at 39. So, I have some catching up to do.
thank you, enjoyed the tune
Thank you Peter

Hey, thank you Marcus. Keep on pick'in.
Excellent playing! And that's a beautiful sounding Lowden.
Well thank you very much for the kind words Landon. And yes, Lowden guitars are special!
Nice job! I love playing the banjo as well. God bless you.
Thank you for the kind words Mason.
Like your style Sir. Hybrid of folk and Bluegrass. You make that Deering sound great. I'm a lefty too. Not many company's will cater for us cak Handers. Been playing 5 string for many years. Had to make my own starting out, no left handers. Got a Deering calico now, great Banjo.
Hi Glynn. Thank you for the kind words. I'm actually right handed. The cell video makes it appear that I'm left handed. I have since changed a video parameter to resolve the issue. I play a Deering Boston model. The Calico is a beautiful banjo. Stage in touch. Steve
@@steveblechschmidt5508 Ah yes, the Boston, steel rim, sweet sound and very loud. My first Banjo had a Steel rim , Stewart macdonald kit purchased from the States in 1972 i think. I Think steel rim Banjos sound so much better than the cheap virtually unplayable Asian examples on the market. Yours sounds great, and you do it justice .Sorry about the Lefty mistake. Best wishes.
@@glynnbates3241 oh and perhaps the reason you hear folky in my banjo playing is that I struggle to play fast on the banjo so it comes off as a little folky.
one of my favorites! Well done!
a 1,000 thank yous
❤❤
Hi Monica. This might be my favorite Neil song.
