HI!!! i thought it'd be fitting to post this lil' thingy today. made last year and inspired off of one of the Undertale/Deltarune newsletters where Toby Fox made a song about a factory of dogs getting bonked on the head with squeaky hammers for a rhythm game that ended up going unused. i thought that was a funny concept, and made this.

I gotta ask, how is your process for composing/making tunes? rly like your music :> also what sounfonts/libraries do you usually use for this type of music?
Thank you! I wouldn't really know how to describe my process, since a lot of it just kind of involves doing things based on intuition and a general feeling I have when making something. This song uses instruments from a singular soundfont! It's one of instruments from a neat little soft-synth called FPD98 from the 90s. Generally though, I like to use soundfonts of older VGM samples/instruments and chiptuney synths, along side various random collections of samples or soundfonts I've come across online. Occasionally I'll also use higher quality libraries from Native Instruments or something like that when I see fit.
The three distinct motifs for each ghost each with its own instrument (keyboard, synth, guitar?) brings out their personality so good aauufurueihgdfskj Im invested in these characters
