As a teen I’m going to give some tips. Good quality plain clothes and items are the way to go, hygiene products as well. Schools can provide all school supplies for students in need, so not really necessary, the pencil sharpeners bad idea, if that gets sent to a kid who self harms they’ll unscrew it and use that to cut themself. A boy 10 to 14 will get bullied for that hat, same with the bag, and if they need a new bag most schools can provide that. 10 to 14 year olds usually aren’t into those toys anymore, focus on other stuff for that age range and above. Stuff like undergarments are a great idea, underwear and socks, sports bras for females, whole pack of a sturdy brand. You’re doing a great thing trying here, thank you for that, I hope my comment doesn’t come off as rude and can be taken and put into use.

Love the wall with all the bins. My OCC stuff is scattered here and there because I don’t have one dedicated spot. But it works. Congratulations on packing 100 boxes, that is wonderful-such a blessing to the children. Thank you for sharing.

Good haul! I got that last water bottle for 2 of my boxes and was really happy, I was looking for one just like it! The stuffies are so cute and the perfect size. I don't know where the clearance is at DT, I guess I should ask. They do have good coloring books, I'm going to look for those fold up sunglasses. They are very cool! I get my reading glasses there.

I love all of Thea finds, when I was at our local dollar tree I found a really sweet sleepy time plush teddy bear with words Jesus loves you on them. And it plays Jesus loves me, I bought ten of them, but when I went back to get some more they were all sold out. Next time I see something that know I will be putting in my shoeboxes my shoeboxes, I just need to buy more of that item, according to,the number of shoeboxes that I am packing. Then a few for fillers.

That book bag is a really nice gift. The whole box is really thoughtful. I'm doing 3 boys next year and 3 girls. I have a really small apartment but I cleared space in my closet so I can do 6 boxes next year. My first year I did one, then this year I did 3 boxes. We don't have a 'Dirt Cheap' where I live. Sounds interesting. I'm looking forward to Valentines clearance this year.

Do you have a dollar tree where you live? They have alot of great coloring books and they don’t print the prices on their books.

Great video! Not sure why people are so secretive about the channel which I’m assuming is Christy M. associated with the website blessings in a shoebox. She is full of misinformation and judgement calling out how dollar tree items are cheap junk. Her friend Michelle sends her boxes of homemade items and not everyone has that luxury. Can’t call her out either bc you will get blocked. Please don’t follow her. For a person who claims to be a Christian, I became disgusted long ago with her. As far as not supporting Temu and SHEIN bc of slave labor, I suppose she doesn’t realize most of her approved suggested items from Amazon at triple the cost comes from the same place. Her and her friend should really consider doing something else.

I think I know the group you are referring to or the person, if it’s the same one, I have been following her and the Facebook group, but they seem to discourage a lot of items being sent that are perfectly acceptable through OCC, I do agree that people need to let the Lord lead in the packing of a shoe box. I am pretty much finished with mine. I am also now as of this year on the prayer team for OCC.
