I would suggest right click on the solution tab, then clear all generated data. Save your workbench and close the ANSYS software. The problem usually go way once you re-open ANSYS and try again

I find a solution for this eror "update failed for the solution component in CFX. The solver failed with a non-zero code of: 2": on worcbench tap rigcht click on solution - edit - run mode: choose Intel MPI Local Parallel and than try to set only 1 or 2 partitions (my computer has 8 partitions and it doesnt work if i choose "6", but started when i chose "4" (4/8)
