Taco City Rockers #1 -full LP- 23 band compilation from San Antonio, TX
Originally released in 1995 on guacamole green colored vinyl. Limited pressing of 500, all hand-numbered and all covers were hand-made out of Mexican restaurant menus from San Antonio, TX. No two copies alike. Do you have a copy? If so, post your copy's cover on Instagram @tacocityrockers

Got this too, sadly scratched mine trying to get shitty players to work by setting pennies on the tonearm or "gently" pushing down when it went over skips. Plus, it didn't have the best production quality to begin with, not the best era for wax, especially indy. Easy to skip from the start. But love the cover and songs. Thanks for posting it.

Lived in Shreveport Louisiana in the early 90s and sometimes this band from Dallas would come and play along with our local bands...we were all impressed that a band from the "big city" would come to our town. That band was Refractory Period, and this video is the first time I've heard them at least 20 years.

Thanks. I always thought it was funny how the singer from Stretford always caught a lot of slack in reviews for trying to "fake a British accent." I guess no one realized he was British (from Stretford!!!) and had been living in Austin for years.
