I'd be interested to know the same re MoT with no cat etc. I know our S80 does well on the emissions test with stock exhaust but what do the numbers look like on a straight pipe, plus do you need an understanding tester to not get an instant fail for no cat? Currently running open pipe from cat back but want to decat/gut the cat soon.
@@danmackintosh6325 you can usually cheat on diesels. Fill the tank up and add about 5 litres of petrol and it will lower the emissions. It worked on my dads van when it failed on the emissions test
It ends up better or if you turn up with a dpf empty light on it will be an advisory I cut mine out had a remap and it passed legitimately every mot and sometimes burned cleaner than expected. A lot of waste diesel ends up in here to clean them out in certain cars can cause shit emissions reading
