Ah Sahm's body changes over the 3 seasons. Here he is so ripped. He was leaner in series 1, then when he started fighting for $ in the Barbary Coast his muscles bulked and he got ripped.

It’s a fun fantasy… but if are struck in the face with a spinning heel kick once, you’re not going to be standing up. If you are able to get up, and are hit with another kick - practically any type - you risk severe concussion & possibly death.

Best fight scene ever. Both gave as good as they got. It's not the simple cliche of one guy beating on another, they both got beat up but kept on getting up until the end.

As a fight scene, on rewatch, I was disappointed. The way they trade undefended head blows without ending the fight breaks the suspension of disbelief for anyone familiar with the fighting arts - a majority of their viewership, I suspect.

They better renew for Season 4 and give all characters a fitting end. Chao being revealed to have survived Zing's attack at the end of Season 3, Zing being put down for good, Buckley being unmasked as the unscrupulous and dishonest man he is and be removed as Mayor, Ah Sahm and Mai Ling having their relationship restored, tie up all loose ends left from Season 3. Please... 🤞🤞🤞

Loved how in this scene, Hood went berserk on Chayton after he pushed and hurted Siobhan. Before that, he was being tossed around by Chayton, but the moment he saw that Siobhan got into harm's way, anger gave him all the strength and he instantly put Chayton to sleep.

I have issues believing that part when they just exchange the punches, without any blocks….Ah Sam has chin for sure and he was able to withstand Leary’s punches as they were somewhat sloppy, rather fast than strong…but I doubt he wouldn’t be KOed taking clean misiles like that, without any cover or movement to reduce the power from a tank like Leary

ah sahm also would had beated zing, i mean in this match it was shown that ah sahm was a more difficult opponent to li yong because he made him pass a hard time in a clean hand to hand combat match (he broke his ribs) but li yong WAS THE VICTOR and he would had killed him if it wasnt for the police,meanwhile in this fight zing hand to hand skills were "Good" but then we saw him that he lost rhythm and started to lose and he relied in weapons to trying to win the fight

While Leary is my favorite character from the show, here I side with Ah Sahm...he's absolutely right, they're both there for the same reasons, the Irish were just "lucky" to be there for the war to consider themselves home....I even think that Ah Sahm might convince him with the children argument, if only just Leary wasn't so stubborn to take it personally - he saw it as insult, while it was just valid point...
