Nice machine
Cool
Nice
But does it kink the pipe?
Valor ??? Como faz para pedir ???
I bend my tubes with my knee and bare hands🤛🤜
Slow. I could not stand that.
nice. I especially like the power to bend near 1/4" think tube. that's a hard to beat price as well is there a 3"od tube bender available?
Typo on 'hydraulic'
"it does not get any easier"?? WRONG. Get a electric/hydraulic pump set up and you can bend a 180 degree in the time this set up takes to bend 70 degrees. And you don't have to hear that compressor banging away in the background. Sorry to say this but after searching Probender's site this and all their other models look like over priced Pro-Tools 105/105HD benders. When you go to their site they show this nice looking bender for $659 bucks, but when you read what you ACTUALLY get it isn't whats pictured. This is straight off their website: " Bender need to be welded and painted.(Base, Foot Pedal & Die Set "ARE NOT INCLUDED" Can be added separately." Although they do show a itty bitty picture of what your actually getting, but you can't enlarge it to see it better like you can with the fully tricked out ones. Now just about every tube/pipe bender on the market "usually" do not include dies at the advertised price unless it's some package deal. Just once I would like to a manufacture actually show what you'll be getting for the price shown. And not what it CAN look like once you weld,paint/powder coat it and buy all the other accessories that you need to have it look like the one they show.
Just a thought why not make a thin led light table to put parts on and turn the light on the camera off i think you get much better scans.
Wow.. that's extremely Slow. I think rust grows faster than this thing bends.
is this controlling still available now? It's a 4 year old post, I noticed
Did you build this setup or can I but it someplace?
Much better
Cool!
You can use a digital angle finder to find your degree of bend. Much more accurate than the degree wheel.
awesome
Beats nothing but there is no indication of how far you have bent the tube. Lots of trial and error, leads to lots of scrap. Put a degree wheel on it, as it is shown it would be good for coral gates and the like nothing requiring a precision fit or numerous identical parts.
They are laser cut. They are Bender parts that we had laying around.
HI, did this machine also cut out the thick parts to the right and left of this part?? Thanks!
@ProBenderCom also, i can set mine so that its exactly like this. 15 degrees right when its about to start working. I think one pin up, its hard for me to strap the tubing since the arm doesnt go all the way down with the ram
@ProBenderCom i have a pro3 with a 1.5 x 4.5 die i ordered directly from pro tools. Can you tell me what hole i should put it on? i dont want to kink my tubing. thanks! please lmk!
I think that it should be up one hole on the backing block. Depends on the die.
is this the proper way to set my pro3 backing block?
hydrolic or hydraulic?
at .27 sec. check out the stress the mast was under when you released, it whipped back, probably should ad some more bracing there.
@UgIzZz its a tubing bender. used to bend steel tube generally in the 1-2" range. Race car fabrication, roll cages, hand rails, furniture. whatever you would make out of tubing. This setup bends vertical to save space, most benders are bolted to the floor because of the force it takes to bend the tube..this is a more versatile unit that can be built by the home hobbyist.
Whats the point of it?
@UgIzZz thats exactly what it is. an engine lift base used as the dolly, and its ram has been converted to air over hydraulic which powers a typical rotary draw tubing bender... like a jd3.
..Uhhh sure...
@UgIzZz and engine lift modded into a bender! lol...interesting.
A vertical tube bender!!
...What is this actually?
I will keep that in mind for my next video.
