It truly doesn't need foam

I haven’t tried the tofu 65 2.0 at all so i really couldn’t tell you anything other than the price difference but you can’t go wrong with either.

Pretty close in my opinion, linworks sounds slightly deeper but not nearly as much as a pbt set

Oh no, I just usually put it there to specify that is not a half plate but I'm pretty sure that there weren't any half plates in the GB so thanks for catching that.

@@stevensouvannalath6682 i haven’t noticed much hollowness with mine tbh but if it’s something you cant stand than definitely do force break it just in case

This is no foam, i tend to not use foam on my boards since i enjoy clack a lot more. The value on this board is insane, i own a Tiger Lite, NK87 and Vertex Angle and this sits barely below the angle and way above the NK87, it is definitely a very premium feeling board at a budget

@henrybbui Tiger Lite is thinner with no foam. I wouldn’t say the QK80 needs any foam but i ended up adding the plate foam and it did make it sound fuller, i will be making a comparison with foam and no foam shortly

Would love to but this is actually a soldered pcb, my hotswap shorted so i got a soldered pcb since it was the only thing available, i am planning on desoldering so i can lube them or just pushing down on the stem and lubing while soldered, what foam configs are you wanting to hear?

@@SolderingCrime ah I see. Probably the differences between different foam materials and one without any dampening material if possible :)

It’s very close to irl, I would say that is a bit more quiet irl but the difference is very minimal. It’s mostly quiet due to the polycarbonate plate, that’s why i want to try alu on this soon

@@thamosx9221 you could try Novelkeys, they have the NK87 and its great for the price, i might get one at some point. if anything go to shopmech.com it has all the info you need and its basically a full list of what all the vendors have
