AmCham Dubai was delighted to welcome U.S. Ambassador to the UAE, Martina Strong, and U.S. Consul General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Robert Raines, to this year’s GITEX Kickoff Breakfast, underscoring the strong U.S.-UAE partnership.
We where also honored to have Reta Jo Lewis, President and Chair of the Export-Import Bank of the U.S. (EXIM), as our keynote speaker. She provided insights into how the U.S. supports technological innovation through financing for sectors like AI, cybersecurity, and sustainable technologies. Following her keynote, Ms. Lewis will engage with delegates on ways EXIM can support global growth and innovation.
The breakfast also featured a panel discussion on “How Enabling the Regulatory Environment Fosters Innovation and Technological Advancement,” exploring the role of regulation in advancing AI, cybersecurity, mobility, and more.
