Him being called Taka in Mufasa doesn’t make sense even if Mufasa takes place in the 2019 lion king remake timeline Because Ahadi in that movie sees scar as the true king and not Mufasa so why would he call his own son waste 🤦 *makes no sense*

I personally was not a huge fan of the show's ending because of the SPECIES of vitani's guard. I looove this show and rewatched it bunch, but it felt like the purpose of the lion guard's start was lost when the guard was back to being all lions. I guess Vitani would have no reason to mingle with other species, but I thought the initial messaging of all species working together was great. And it looked like the Mufasa prequel cemented that message! The challanges were very situational, and in other cirstumstances guys like Beshte wouldve won in a landlslide because lions also have weaknesses. They felt like problems just spawning, Again like Beshte's loss because he overheated. When he's done a lot of combat / moving in the sun for years It could've expanded Vitani more too if we see she's been able to adapt so well that she could befriend other species. I dont know, just felt disheartening to see some of the guard lose over things that sometimes feel like a discredit to them. Just one or two different animals could've added a lot of interesting ideas about the changing cultures for the pride. Oh yeah and Kion keeping the roar was stupid lol butI still had a lot of fun with this show

I was kinda sad when mufasa movie messed with scar and how he got his scar even though lion guard came up with it first I know it’s a more realistic thing but they claim the live action is canon to the original but they messed up the story with mufasa so in my opinion mufasa is not cannon to the original

See, The thing about the whole “kion becoming like scar thing” is it’s already been done before with kovu and it work more with him. Kovu had a toxic family with a sick, twisted mother who was forcing him to become like scar by vengeance, especially since he look more like him than his sibling. Not to mention he had siblings that was jealous of him and could not stand him cuz he got all the attention in the family. He had no friends like kion did and no support. He had to grow up becoming the very thing he didn’t want to become and had been filled with vengeance since childhood. Meanwhile when kovu grows up and meets kiara again he’s stuck in a loop hole. battling his morality interms of should he fulfilled his vengeance in killin Simpa. becoming just like scar as he was taught all his life or should he find pace within himself and start a new life with kiara. Someone that actually cares and love him. It’s not just kovu battling his morality it’s simpa as well, having trust issues based off what scar did to his father. And just as both start to have a charge of heart, the ambush scene accidentally happen causing simpa to not trust kouv no more. Later Kovu gets banish but just as he left he looks back at the pride land than back down at a reflection of himself from the river and all he can see is scar. This was so powerful and great writing because this film shows that “evil is not born it is made” despite Kovu growing up being taught vengeance by his wicked mother he still grew up of trying to walk a different path. kion on the other hand has friends 247 with a loving family and been Rise with good morality so of course he’s to strong to lose himself which is why I don’t think it works for him as it does for kouv.

After watching this I went and had a good think, because I am one of the people who wasn't really fond of the Vitani lion guard. And after thinking about it, I don't have a problem with her, nor her leading a new lion guard. My big issue is the fact that it came about BEFORE Kion returned. Like Simba and Kiara had nothing to say they just allowed the Lion Guard to be replaced. I know they had been gone for a while at that point but idk I still just don't like it. I think it would've been better if, after returning, Kion realized he did still miss Rani, and Kiara encourages him to go back. Then he says it wouldn't be right to leave the pridelands unattended and without a guard, then the events can still line up similarly, as maybe Kovu suggests Vitani for the job. The tests would end up about the same after that. Just my take though, Idm how it ended

Love love loved this video!!!! I didn’t realize how deep they went into his trauma and recovery process, it’s honestly really amazing they did that and were able to convey this deep and important message with the tools and limitations they had!

Do you know if there will be more Lion guard episodes/seasons i would really enjoy more

them actually only showing a splash is very disney junior friendly, considering flesh LITERALLY EXPLODES if it falls into lava. (you still only really see the lava bubble and flame but it does it a lot and for a while) so yeah it was definitely tame 😭
