i wonder what this game would be like if it had more normal sound effects and reworked sprites instead of developer art. not that the base stuff is bad or anything

If you want to improve your videos, you need to do a few things: - make your voice louder, preferably by getting closer to the mic - enunciate better, a lot of your talking is a low energy mumble, it can be hard to hear what you're saying - be more mindful of background noise and try to reduce it to the minimum. You can hear some kid and a tv in the background at some points, very distracting. - when adding background music, you need to be extremely careful with the volume, so it doesn't drown out your mic, and that the loudness is somewhat balanced across the video. e.g. the Minecraft credits music around the middle of the video was especially bad, but other music wasn't very well balanced as well. Also video quality is kinda bad in some places, bitrate falls off in a few places, and is bad overall, and I think the video froze for a few dozen seconds in the tutorial. You can encode raw footage with higher bitrate (maybe even 6000kbps for 1080p60) and a lower compression profile (probably superfast if not ultrafast), then only make a smaller file for upload later. If your computer can't keep up with that, record in 30fps, if it can't keep up with that, do 720p. Good 720p is better than bad 1080p.

Ey, thanks man. I've been waiting for this one since Cassidy is my go-to. Fascinating how it starts out so horribly off-key, but slowly builds to something of a harmony as the threat level goes up, and even then it's still pretty cacophonic. I'm not really in this game for the lore, but that has some intriguing implications for Cassidy as a character. Also I never noticed how discordant and messy the music is during actual gameplay, so I'd say that's a mark of achievement, though I do play with my volume pretty low for, y'know, the obvious reason.
