MegaCon Tampa 2018 day 2, some friends of mine held this great voltron panel!! there were some loud people sat directly behind me so theres a bit of unnessisary comments and screaming... but the rest is great. So, at the underpanel of metrocon 2017, none of the hosts showed up. After about 8 minutes, Papyrus (his name is Xander and he is the best papyrus you will ever meet) marches up to the front of the room playing bonetrostle on his speakers and starts his own panel. And from there they kind of just assembled their own panelist group. I couldn't have asked for a better time.
Papyrus completely taking over since the actual host is gone is so in character ☠☠

I honestly am so happy this video is getting the *papyrus voice* RECOGNITION it deserves 😌✨ Xander (the paps cosplayer) truely knocked it out of the park, and considering that everything was come up with on the fly….. Still one of my greatest convention experiences, even now.

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever met someone as perfect at embodying a character in every circumstance as Xander/paps here. Literally the guy doesn’t stop. He shows up at the local cons and he *IS* papyrus. It’s wondrously close to literally running into actual papyrus himself. If you didn’t know he was fictional, you wouldn’t be able to tell. This dude still holds some of my top spots for best interaction with a cosplayer ever. And I’ve been attending cons for YEARS. I’m so sad that his papyrus costume got damaged and he hasnt been able to make a new one. But his memory will live on.

I do understand the gate people have towards Underlust, but I’m not sure if most people who hate it actually took the time to see it’s story instead of just judging based of its name.
This is the best thing I have ever seen at a con.
I like that the cosplayer playing as Papyrus just formed a panel and started inviting people up to the panel. That’s sweet bro.
