Le C.O.G est une expérience de science-fiction, un laboratoire et un atelier : un cercle de créatifs indépendants se rencontrant pour des projets et des événements, mais aussi une communauté de discussion, de réflexion et de création sur le monde de l’art ludique et numérique contemporain.
L’association a pour vocation de faire la promotion de la pratique artistique par des événements ouverts et créatifs, de promouvoir le patrimoine dans le domaine des arts ludiques, numériques, musicaux, visuels, vidéo, littéraires et plastiques.

La N.U.I.E 2024 - Cérémonie de Clôture - "Le Rêve" - Musique électro-acoustique
Bienvenue à la cérémonie de clôture de la N.U.I.E 2024, où les rêves se mêlent à l'art de l'écriture interactive. Lors de cette nuit magique, les créateurs ont été invités à explorer le thème énigmatique du "non Lieu", tout en guidant leurs lecteurs à travers une aventure onirique où chaque choix, chaque indice, et chaque mot comptait.
La penta-contrainte a ouvert les portes d'un univers où les participants ont tissé des récits singuliers en respectant des règles strictes : une carte mystérieuse, une phrase répétée comme un mantra, et un gardien offrant un choix crucial. Ce voyage a commencé le 10 août 2024 à 20h00, et s'est déroulé pendant 12 heures d'intensité créative, pour se terminer avec cette cérémonie qui célèbre la diversité des œuvres produites. Masterpiece, but the ending is so weird. I don't get the morality. Frederson was a real piece of shit all along, was directly responsible for enslavement and murder attempt upon hundred of people, and yet, without any redemption nor saving anyone, workers made peace with him. WHY ? I'm really confused, I really thought that was denouncing tyranny and about class struggle, but it's seem more to be "If the system enslaved you, don't fight. And at the end, respect authority". Am I getting something wrong, cause I'm really disapointed...

@@lecercledelorbitegalactique I understand that, but to me Frederson hadn't pay anything for what he did, the forgiving feels way too easy. He didn't even apologise nor feel sorry exept for his son.
The workers suffered way more than him, but they were the ones who offer the handshake and yet Fresderson had reluctance to it and had to be guided by his son to accept it. The ending would have been way more logic if it was Fresderson who offer the handshake as a sign he changed and was sorry, and his son forced the workers to accept it.

I understand people being upset about it being colorized, but I want people to remember that though shown in black and white originally, the sets and costumes were colored when shot. This is basically how it should have looked. It’s still as artistic. It’s just now in color.

カラー化されてるのはyoutubeにも複数上がっているけど、この動画のカラー化は質が悪いです。これなら元のモノクロのを見た方がはるかにいい。変な色がついてるよりモノクロの方が想像力が刺激されて感銘が大きいという好例。

What an absolute charmer this movie. I'm struggling to fit HG Wells as one of the writers, but he also received credit for the 1921 version of Kipps.

Being a HUGE Pirate Movie n history afficianado at my 67 yrs of female age, n having seen this AWESOME movie of Captain Kidd, the legend, played masterfully by Charles Laughton, and just coming from rewatching Pirates of the Caribbean, also one of my MOST favorite movies, with Johnny Depp being the ONLY Jack Sparrow EVER possible in life, makes me query whether Steven Rea, the actor who legendized Captain Hector Barbossa into movie history, did pattern his portrayel in some of the magnificent flourishes n speech n movements n attitude of the Charles Laughton Captain Kidd?!?! That just clicked into my head while observing the scene in which Captain Kidd is being made Emissary for the King commandeering a Royal Ship to escort a ship to Britain from the wicked pirate filled waters of Madagascar!!! Back in 1946 when Hitler did escape to Argentina, he stole the movie and destroyed the sound. Years later the film tape was found in Buenos Aires with no sound so they had to add the captions.
For the same reason old smartphones couldn't take 8k videos.
Because silence is golden.
Because "Metropolis" was made during the silent era, before sound technology was developed for film. Movies were made with some dialogue cards included, but most of the films were acted out visually, with musical accompaniment. This accompaniment was often played live in the theater, usually with organ or piano. Full orchestral soundtracks came along later.
