@@motorcyclestudio-betasherc3999 I live in what must be the single worst place on planet earth for dirt bike riding. Long Island new york , a total of 1 legal place to ride which is like the whopping 20 acres of land at 75 bucks a pop. So I essentially live vicariously through other riders lmao. Over the summer just going to take a solo mission somwhere like PA for a week and ride my ass off

I love the 4 stroke! It's an incredible bike. Definitely not my go to bike for hard enduro but very nice for everything else. Best in the trees and on tight enduro tracks. Pretty decent for enduro cross track as well. Substantially light and nimble for a 4 stroke. Typically a 300 4 stroke is relatively low geared so will rev a fair bit on the open tracks 🤙 Thanks for watching

On the 2 stroke we do it by feel and eyes 😊 I don't usually measure it as such, just adjust it with the carby out and upside down in about 60° you want the float to be parallel to the float chamber case, then re check on the bike 👍

Hahaha, they do a 450 and 530 but very different from the 300. You should take it for a ride next time we go out. It has very good power and sooo light.

I haven't tried the TM 250 as the 300 is the one I usually ride from any other brand so it was a better comparison. Depending on what you want to do with the bike, your size and skill really. The difference between 250 to 300 is not so big, usually the 250 is a little softer off the bottom but seems happier to be in the powerband and higher rpm compared with the 300 so if you prefer revving the bike harder get a 250 and if you want a torque monster for hill climbs or boggier tracks get the 300 👍

We are in pretty much see level. On this video I went with 38p.j 170m.j and N2ZW clip #2 (overall, a lot leaner than std setting) It was an improvement on the previous needles I tried before on the same tracks. I'm trying to find a good set up with the 38mm carb and 6.5 slide so only playing with needles and jets based on what the bike comes with. It needs to be good for hills and techy riding as well as special test tracks and I will find the perfect set up. If you tell me what set up you were using so far and where, I can suggest a few options for you if you still having issues.

@@motorcyclestudio-betasherc3999 My TM 300 with carb comes in a month. Just trying to get an idea of carb settings. I'm also under 1000 feet above sea level

@@MichaelAbramo if you ride in 25c or above that should be a good set up for tight tracks and some flowy tracks, if you ride in colder weather and fast in the power band a lot, you might want to try it with a 40p.j so it's a little richer off the bottom. There are a few other options with the NECJ (Suzuki needle) that you can try but I personally didn't like it.

@@motorcyclestudio-betasherc3999 Thank you! I'm coming off a YZ250X and really looking forward to the TM. I ride year round in the NE US so 0C to about 35C. I use the NECJ in the YZ but will definitely experiment with your suggestion as well. I expect my first race of the year to be in January so I'm going to need to have some rich settings!

@@MichaelAbramo if you're going to race in your winter temp try the stock settings maybe lean it a little bit 42p.j from 45 and 172 from 175 with stock needle on clip 2 or 3. Try both and see what you like more. The bike is a beast with the stock jetting but will gazelle fuel with no time. I went with a 50-60km range for a std tank with my jetting and I got a good power delivery with that. I also run the 12t front sprocket which helps in the more hilly terrain but you'll be revving it up more so see what suits you best once you start riding it. Enjoy the TM !

The TM has a more aggressive engine with very good power. Still rider friendly but does suit a more experienced rider. It's a bike that the more you push it the better it gets. Chassis and suspension is stiffer than your typical other euro enduro bikes. One very noticeable difference is the light weight, it feels like a 125, so light. The handling on the rough tracks (if you ride fast) is way better than a standard KTM, Husky, GG or Beta as an outta box package. It can really deal with the bumps and chop way better without deflecting too much. This bike is a weapon in the right hands.

@@alextingle5970 Thanks man! yeah took a while to come up with a more suitable logo but we got there at the end! Yeah...no replacement to the Sidi but I do rate them, they are comfy and good protection, just buckles keep opening too easy in hard enduro scenario. 🤪

@@motorcyclestudio-betasherc3999 Yeah agree on the 5.5's the heel block is also quite bulky, but v comfortable, wore them in Bulgaria all day everyday.

Hi James. "We ride/race what we sell" so pretty much says it all ;) In this video I'm mounted to a Beta RR300 and chasing a Sherco 250SER on a trail not far from the Pinjar motorcycle area 👍
