New Insta360 X3 Action Camera Unboxing & Details
Appreciate thsi review, thinking about getting the T7 pro coming from a freesky Himalaya 750 watt motor that i absolutely love.
Thanks. I use my T7 almost every day during lunch. So far it's been working very well.
Great video. I just did the same procedure. The Canon screws are normally threaded (i.e. lefty loose) but they are SUPER tight. Using the rather short handled Phillips screwdriver with soft metal that came with the eye cup is a quick recipe for a stripped screw or screws. Don't use it! Instead get a high quality Phillips jewellers screwdriver with a longer handle and better quality driver metal, then apply pretty big direct 90 degree downforce while unscrewing to the left and you should get them. Good luck!
Yep. I have a kit I keep in my desk that work way better.
I just got the 10L. Can I suggest a video idea to you that's no where to be found on TH-cam but that a beginner like me would appreciate? How to set up the divders and the tripod so it doesn't fall out. Nice video.
Thanks for watching. I use mine all the time. I end up carrying more stuff but at least it's in one place and no pocket jingles.
Hi, just wondering, what is the tripod you use at the end of the video?
I purchased the DJI Osmo Mini Tripod for about $16 (also comes with the Osmo Pocket 3). You can also use any third party mini tripod. Also used the DJI Action 2 Magnetic Ball-Joint Adapter Mount that came with my 32GB Action 2 bundle (unscrewed the adhesive base and screwed in the mini tripod). You can purchase these items if you don't have these at the DJI Store. Links: store.dji.com/product/dji-action-2-magnetic-ball-joint-adapter-mount?vid=109011 store.dji.com/product/osmo-mini-tripod?vid=153411
Just picked up another one of these. It’s our absolute favorite camera by far. Got rid of most of our others since this is just so convenient and capable.
Yep. Looking at mounting one on one of may camera cages.
Last night i tried to take replace it and one of the screw got damaged 😢. The screwdriver is bad. Can you tell me what size of the screweddriver did you use?
I have a PH00 bit from my electronic tool kit that I have used. You have to be careful not to use a lot of force when tightening the screws.
Hi, I really like your detailed review of v2 and comparison with v1! Thank you very much 👍 I'm thinking to get a v2 of 4L sling, just the back pocket is making me confused, it's just an open pocket with a magnet lock on it, what really can be stored in it? The bag is water resistant, that means one does not have to worry about elements but in case of rain the back pocket will collect all rain water, right?
I mostly use the back pocket for my iPhone 13 Pro Max since it fits and closes with no issues. If rain or snow gets in there is should be minimal.
Is this still overheating?
I use the case so I haven't seen the issue on either the 32GB or 128GB. It does get warm but I am usually using mine while in motion on an eBike. I don't recall the overheating limitation changing even with the 128GB version
It seems that my face isn't able to get close enough unless I really press into it. So moving my face further would make it even more difficult to see the entire frame. Is the view of the boundaries of the frame somehow more visible with this product?
I did not see boundary issues with the cup. Mainly cause its opens up as it extends outward.
You addressed all of the issues that I had with the 10L V1 and I'm also very glad that PGYTECH fixed them in the V2. Thank you for the video!
Great to hear! Thanks for watching.
hi, for a mirrorless camera (like the Canon M6) with mounted lens and an extra lens, is the 3L or 4L better? Thank you
Depends on the lense size your taking with you. For the most part I prefer the 4L better cause the extra space helps with carrying more.
Wtf i dont Need my phone🤣
Yep. First DJI Goggles version you did need it to start flying without getting the remote ID error. Newer Goggles (ones with the battery built in to the head band) you no longer need the phone to start flying.
Link to the PGYTech bag you mentioned?
It would be like the PGYTECH OneMo line. www.pgytech.com/products/onemo-2-backpack There is also a 22L Version you could also use:www.pgytech.com/products/onemo-lite-backpack
what about thermical shut down, has it got any better than the 32gb? If not, i don't see the reason for an upgrade
Still the same and still requires the case.
@@JuarezTravelz no reason to upgrade then..
Best comparison so far with version 1. Thanks!
Thanks and thanks for watching my video.
I'll probably play around with that X3 + T7 combo too 🙃 What is your experience with the CST tires on T7? Are those good enough for general use? Any problems with punctures? Slime applied? What about riding in rain?
For general use yes. No punctures yet. I have gone on grassy rough areas and it seams to be ok. I have used it with minimal rain but felt the traction ok. I did proceed with caution though. Usually on wet and very dusty paved areas I do take it a bit slower and carefully anyway. I am pretty sure there are better tires but for the price the quality is pretty decent.
@@JuarezTravelz Thanks! I heard some quite negative opinions about these tires in one review. Good to know it's not that bad. I thought Vitilan wouldn't put the crappy tires in their flagship mtb, even if it is relatively inexpensive.
Thanks for the real life, real user review of this bike. I hope I'm gonna be as as happy with mine as you are 🙂
So far I am still using mine weekly and really enjoying the T7. only issue is a need a bike rack to take this out to other places. Already have a lot of miles done in my close by large bike trails and roads.
@@JuarezTravelz I'm waiting for my T7 and i7pro for my GF. These will be our first ebikes. And the new little adventure 😉
A great advantage, now you can go skiing, snorkling or diving for longer periods without the need of taking the case... Of course you still need the 2nd module to download or copy the media to an SD card.. but now you can do more water/wet activities without case. (Battery time on only having main module is still the same)
Yep. If you do want to use the module there is the option of getting a third party waterproof case too. Still just being able to use the camera module works just as nice.
Goggles on. Hands busy with remote control. $1600.00 cellphone in full view of anyone. What could possibly go wrong?
Safer to have someone with you and also going with the newer DJI goggles also.
sucks having to connect my phone to my avata!!!
True.
I'm looking at buying this case, thanks for making this video. I like that this case has room for the lanyard screws on the bottom of the controller. That said, I typically stow my controller with the lanyard still attached. It's not a bulky lanyard, very thin fabric without padding. Do you think there's enough space to store the controller with the lanyard attached?
Could be doable. I usually remove mine and stow it under the controller in the case. It really depends on the lanyard dimensions.
Nice but made in China. I ordered this one but sending it back for the US made Symic P330 which is $10 cheaper and has two layers with roughly the same footprint for anyone who is interested.
Symik P330 is also a very good case. They do make good products over all and for a good price. The P330 is a nice case in that it's a dual layer case. the bottom part allows for extra storage. I like the red color on the foam too.
Hi i ve the dji air 3 + dji goggles integra rc motion 2 controller im looking for a case where i can put all these items with foam insert. You or ur followers have an idea? Best regards
I don't know off hand of one that would include space for the DJI Goggles Integra and motion controller as well. Lykus does sell some cases with a customizable phone insert that you could use.
recommend NOT storing a battery in your drone. LIPO batteries are finicky, can swell, even explode. Seen it happen. Storing your battery in your drone, if the battery swells, leaks, burns, your drone is trashed. DJI refresh is only for so long. Just some unsolicited advice to anyone watching, help keep your drone well :)
Especially when storing long term you need to make sure the batteries are checked often. Best is to use them and also check the condition of your batteries. Thanks.
Its not RAM
True. Best answer that lines up is just internal storage. Not specifically RAM or ROM. Thanks
If only it took an SD card. Then the storage wouldn't matter. ROM storage not RAM.
Yep. To sum it up its just internal storage. Really I should have noted it as internal memory storage; but I caught that after the fact. Thanks for watching.
It does. You plug it into the Power Module or Dual Screen Module which comes with.
sadly no 10 bit again
True.
Benefit of 10 bit?
@@johnorton4418 So the difference here is the amount of shades for color channel (RGB) that each provide. 8 bit gives you 256 shades of color where 10 bit give you 1024 shades of color for your video. Also means that 10-bit video takes more memory storage space. So for regular videos you would post on social media 8 bit is sufficient. If you wanting better quality and more color grading capability ( a bit more pro) then 10 bit would be preferable.
@@JuarezTravelz ok. For pov type of camera battery is most imp
128 GB of ROM not RAM. Thanks for the video tho!
Real only memory?
@@supergewoon Yep. Should have caught myself on that one. Wish YT had a way of us doing minimal editing of our videos after the fact rather than having to re-upload it again.
@@JuarezTravelz No, it's also not ROM. Read ONLY memory indicates that you can only read that memory. You can't record videos on a ROM memory. ROM memory used to be CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, etc. We don't actually use ROM in almost anything anymore. It's just storage. Plain and simple. It's 128 GB Internal storage. Its sometimes made of a comercial SSD (M.2 or SATA) and sometimes it's an UFS Internal Flash memory, but we should simplify this for the sake of being clear. It's just Storage. It's non-volatile but it's not READ ONLY.
Thanks that is a very good explanation. Guess in my mind the word ROM did not come into play since it is like you mentioned Read Only Memory and this internal storage really is read and write; but not RAM since once power is gone so is what is stored in memory. Thus internal storage is the better notation. Thanks for watching.
superior to the insta360 go cameras IN EVERY SINGLE WAY
Yep. I looked at the GO3 at BestBuy and it felt toy like (lots of plastic parts) for a very high price. Glad DJI brought the price down on the Action 2. In my case I am glad I chose the Action 2.
Nice video! Any experience with max. recording time and overheating? Any difference when using the 128GB for long recording time?
Mine are small b-roll clips mostly. I have tried 4K but in one case I ran out of power. Most of what I have done was while bike riding so I had a cool breeze passing by the camera. Long videos I usually add the dual display module. Without your probably looking at around 10min at 4K/30fps RS. With the battery or dual screen module best case it can be up to 22min.
That's not a work around lol
At the time it was one but now with the Integra Goggles and the Avata 2 goggles that game has changed.
Japanese product designers don’t always design products for bodies and faces that are different from typical Japanese people. Glad to see products like this developed for those of us with bigger / pointier American noses.
True in my case too.
Couldn't use that bracket on my rc pro because my case doesn't have a cutout for the strap anchor.
I have thad that issue with some cases. Definitely you want to make sure it fits.
hi do you know if the 4L fit ipad pro 11 in the main compartment not the tablet compartment?
I don't have the iPad Pro 11 but based on the dimensions I would say no for the 4L
You got a new subscriber for this video! Thank you so much. What cage are you useing on your eos r6 mark ii? Also... if you use a hand strap have you found a good one? Thanks again
I use the Small Rig cage for my Canon R6 Mark II. As for the hand strap I really like the Peak Designs Wrist Strap. I have used this one a lot.
How about us that wear glasses. How does this fit to glasses
It's soft enough for glasses; but in my case I don't use my glasses but rather I rely on adjusting the diopter setting on the EVF.
Silly question Do both Mini 4 Pro Batteries fit in the spots?
not sure what spots of the case you are referring to; but the batteries will fit on the slots nearest to the hinge area as well.
Дякую за огляд. Збираюся замовити такий кейс.
Glad the video helped. Thanks for watching
@@JuarezTravelz I bought it (a short review is on my channel), but returned it. Now I am again considering the possibility of buying such a case, the other several cases that I bought turned out to be worse than Lykus, I returned them.
Thanks for this man!
Thanks!
Thanks a lot for this. Will also have to check your lykus review before I decide which case/bag to buy. Thanks again!!
Yes. Thanks
Nice video.. I am thinking of buying this bike. are you happy with it? did you encounter any problem? I like engwe e26 also
I love it. Any chance I get to use it I do. I have a lot of miles on it and it still rides great. Makes my lunch hour more enjoyable.
I have the 6L version, and it fits my R6mkii + RF 24-105/2.8L perfectly, when dividers are off.
That is good to know. They are close in internal size for sure. On my end I tend to lean on the larger size shoulder bag. I think if PGYTECH were to make an 16-18L shoulder or messenger type bag I would definitely look into one of those. I do like the OneMo back packs for even larger sizes. Thanks for sharing that info and watching my video.. 4L: Internal size: 300mm*150mm*100mm 6L: Internal size: 370mm*210mm*125mm 10L: Internal size: 430mm*240mm*140mm
thanks I'm looking for one to fit my s5ii with 24-105. probably this combo also will fit.
@@JuarezTravelzHi . Thanks for this short review of the PGYTech OneGo Solo V2. May I ask after some months of use, how's it keeping up? Has its material (70% Polyster, 30% Polyurethane) shown durability and does it easily gets scratched or attracts dirt or oil? [I'm choosing between this Obsidian Black or the Moss Green (85% Polyster, 15% Polyurethane) but I want to know which is more durable in the long term]. Thank You.
I really like that new 4L model. Looks to be a good size for a balanced small travel/camera sling bag. Though, I do wish they had a blue colour option like they did with the V1.
Yeah. Interesting how they came up with only the other one green color since previously they offered more. The blue one is a nice color too. Hopefully they might reconsider. What would be even cooler on my end is if they came out with a dark camouflage color like the back packs
Thank you for the great review! I am looking for a bag that will hold r6mii, rf 100-500mm and rf 24-105 mm f4. Do you think 6 or 10l suits me better? Thank you!
I also have the RF 100-500mm and the RF 24-105mm F4 and you can fit them into the 10L using one divider. The key is to lay the camera with the RF24-105mm F4 horizontally and the 100-500 vertically. Hoods can be on but in the stored position. You can also have the mount on the larger lens on. The 100-500mm is also a nice lens by the way. You can also have both the camera with the 24-105mm F4 lens installed and the 100-500mm in the bag both vertically too with the 10L shoulder bag. Thanks!
I have both. Integra all the way.
I still enjoy just being able to put the Integra goggles on quickly with no wire hassles or Remote ID headaches.
the integera is amazing but is it true that you cant change the battery so you have to replace the whole google if the batterry bloats
On the Integra the battery is interchangeable. I think if I get to the point where I need to replace the battery I would probably look for a 3rd party replacement if DJI does not have an option. Hopefully it will last me long enough.
Good video. Have been wondering about this.
Thanks for watching!
@@JuarezTravelz I've had my lenses now for a couple weeks and it was the best 50$ spent yet.
hi mate do they scratch the Integra lenses scratch if you look at them rubbish ?
The lenses have some scratch resistance like most prescription lenses; but my thought is they could given the type of dust or size of particles. I usually use my camera blower and soft brush, then clean them like my regular glasses.
If you wear glasses like I do, the goggles 2 make it so easy to adjust your vision. My goggles 2 vision is Better than my glasses ! On the Integra, you can't change batteries and I think over time, the Integra power cable, running inside the head-strap is a potential point of failure that might be tough to fix.
Yep. Goggles 2 has some positives like the easy diopter adjustment. Since I have astigmatism I had to get prescription lenses unfortunately. I also thought about the cable and battery situations you noted; but in my case having the GPS built in and no cords makes it easier to deal with. Pretty much I do is take it out of my hard case, turn it on and ready to fly.
Would you go with the startrc or the lykus you reviewed and why? I was also looking at the lykus backpack style case
Note first that in the end its what one likes provided the case meets your personal requirements. As for what I went with is the Lykus. The one thing on the Lykus that I would have liked is having a vertical insert for the battery hub like in the StartRC and also the included shoulder strap is a plus. Why I went with the Lykus is the style and the optional purchasing of the foam insert should I need to replace a worn out foam or even a possible future foam insert upgrade if available. The Lykus M1 backpack is pretty nice for portability and on that it has EVA and PP hard panels that help with sturdiness. It is water resistant too. If you want the best protection from water and crush protection the hard cases like this one are way better.
