Xena 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 you rock! Thank you for sharing your experiences. Congrats on doing the speech and nailing it. Here's to all the amazing wins 🏆
Yes! Xena thank you for this podcast. So true for me. My sensitivity "superpower" has actually inspired me to write a book. Something that can help people see things in a different perspective but can totally relate to as well as being educational. Here's to My next adventure into writing✨️ I never thought in a million years that I'd want to write a book. 🤯
Writing a book!!!! HELL YES!!! Here's to this incredible adventure & the gift that sensitivity brings - I will be first in line to buy a copy!! xx
I want to stop the negative self talk. I really do. But in a lot of ways it does work pretty well for me, at least in the short term. Horses run faster when they are being whipped. Right up until they don’t. But my brain doesn’t care about the inevitable future crash; it wants to run fast NOW. And so it reaches for that whip, again and again.I see the pattern. I get it. I know I need to change it…But this powerful part of my brain is programmed to believe that without the whip I won’t run at all. And that is more terrifying than the pain of the crash.
This is so important! I could never figure out why it seemed like every good experience I had throughout my life had to be followed by this conversely negative feeling! It was a Rollercoaster i thought I'd never get off of but having this understanding helps tremendously!
This was incredibly helpful, thank you. Late diagnosed ADHD at 46 and I've always joked that I have the golden gloves in beating myself up. It's been an endless cycle that never brings any benefit.
Happy birthday 🎉 thank you for the info
