Out of all of your flint and tinder pants, which are your favorite? Proof, 365 pant, or chino (if you have those)? Also how is the rise? Right now my go to pants (denim) are in the easy guy fit so I’m worried about the lower rise in these. Just wanted to get your thoughts. Thanks!

The fabrics, colours and construction do look amazing! I just wish there local options to try them. I'd be much more likely to buy if I could get them in my hands first.

The toebox looks so narrow. I have a very wide foot and I usually wear US 9.5 in New Balances, Nikes, etc. Should I go 9.5 or should I go 10?

Trucker jacket originally was to fit shortter to b worn while driving ,so u dont sit on ur back and sleves arent caught on shit...depends if u want the appearance of a trucker or a funtional trucker jacket

On the fence between these and Gustin's #159 Japan Olive. Decisions! What would your pick be? Would be to alternate with a pair of N&F Indigo Selvedge. Have never owned Duck Canvas pants, but have also never tried Gustin before.

My experience - Walking down a city sidewalk, in slushy, icy, or even muddy conditions, the Daintes are fine. As you walk into the wet/oily marble lobby of a building - sudden death as you slip and crack your head. Substitute the Eton (look a like) and its the opposite - slushy/snowy/muddy the the grip is not so good, walk into a marble floor of a building and no slip. This comes down to the "nobs/spikes" and the hardness of the rubber. Dainties the nobs stick out and the rubber is hard - like walking on golf shoes. On the Eton the nobs are recessed and the rubber is soft.

How do you feel about the rise? Is it too low? I like the rise of the relaxed taper but the leg opening of the straight fit. Confused as to which to buy I tried N&F weird guy and it was not for me, very low rise. So just curious

Guessing they avoid tariffs by importing the material and sewing them together in CA (wish they had a better deal with USPS for shipping). This is why a lot of American selvedge denim is cheaper than Japanese.. Some amazing products/technology have come from Americans & Japanese working together. I really like the honesty in there culture, it shows in how they are so advanced, maintain there heritage, and preserve the land.. would like to see a bigger resurgence in American culture and hope to this trend of new small businesses making heritage/quality/handmade goods continue. I ordered a pair of 1925s along with some stamped Horween veg tan belts. Can't wait to check them out/can't believe the price.

I own the same exact boots but in black. I’ve had them for about 3 months now and I love them. I wear them everyday and they go with everything.

I have 2014 iron rangers in 9d and 2014 beckmans in 9ee and when the beckman broke in my foot is swimming in it to the point that i have to use an insole or atleast 2 thick socks. The iron ranger in 9d is just right though.

What size are you wearing 42 44 46 ? Japanese sizes are always tricky..

Gustin's jeans are great, in my experience. Their shirts are a different story, though. The fit is pretty good, and the fabric is fine, but the damn tags they use are the worst! I've ended up cutting them out every time I bought their t-shirts because they're so uncomfortable.

The way the fabric panels crease is not flattering. I can't think of another style of show that uses fabric and creases that way. It does look cool for coats and pants though. Also, going by that sole I definitely would not hike on those, that's a casual or work boot.

Those look decent enough for the money but they're not a one-piece like the famous Danner ones, blah, blah. The cork might be problematic for continued comfort and need a rebuild eventually, but should last longer than foam?

Yes, I have kind of a similar problem in that brannock my feet aren't technically WIDE at all, but up front they usually feel tight but then going wider, suddenly the rest is loose. [But those boots cost three times more, etc.] I guess the only REAL solution is pay and wait for full CUSTOM [true bespoke instead of MTO or even MTM].

I'd really like to order from Gustin but their website is an endless loop of sign in errors and I literally can't get it to work long enough to order anything.

worth mentioning that you are getting usa made japan selvage for only 161 bucks plus tax and shipping. not bad considering youd be hard pressed to find these elsewhere for under 250 or more. also sizing is important to check because they dont use vanity sizing and these will shrink.

Yeah that rise isn’t to my liking on the straights and I’m not trying to wear jeans that are 2 full sizes too big on me. 35 is loose enough for me and 36 or 37 would just be insane. Good looking jeans though!
