I was waiting for the descant trumpet part that Moffit used to love putting in.
Great playing!
❤😊

A sextet doesn't need anyone waving a stick 🤔 🤷🤷🤷
Some uneven parts and quite alot of wrong notes but still👍
What a jam!
Great job! A couple missed notes and rhythms. Also the crescendo at measure 33 could have been a little louder. I recommend that you also do chunks of the music to work out any missed notes and fingerings.
Sophomore year, Caitlin was flute 1 and piccolo.
Pioneer Valley Orchestra and the Pioneer Valley Youth Orchestra performing together. Caitlin has the flute solo about 2 mins in and she totally nails it!
Caitlin, (age 16) and her flute teacher performing a duet at the BMC.
Caitlin was a Junior in high school during this time, and had just come from an audition just prior to this performance.
This is my daughter’s Junior year Honors Band Concert.
Great arrangement!
Go Pirates! We play this at our high school games
The pianist who originally had worked with Caitlin suffered a tragic death in the family just before this concert. The Brattleboro Music Center was kind enough to to send one of their talented staff members over to work with Caitlin for this concert. They only had two rehearsals prior to this recital and filming to practice.
So I'm playing in the Santa Barbara High School Alumni band some years ago and Tower of Power trumpeter Adolfo Acosta shows up to play. I think I'm bitchin' because I remember the Bill Moffet arrangement. When we get to "oh say does" Adolfo goes up an octave and just pastes a double C to the seats in Peabody stadium. I still get chills when I think about it. Go Dons!
Caitlin is flute 1 and has the solos in this piece.
Pizza time but is performed by a highschool band
The horn rips need to be improved, otherwise an awesome performance. All in time, most in tune.
Caitlin Sullivan - 1st flute and piccolo for this performance.
I have the 2nd and 3rd Bb clarinet parts for this music and I’ve really been struggling to stay on beat with the rest of my band in part ‘D’ I’m one note too early in one part and then behind for the ‘wave’ and it’s really started to frustrate me. So anyone with the harmony part and can stay on beat after D...you are a legend to me 🙏🏻
More Cowbell !
Ah yes!
sounds like that cowbell is amplified
My 8th grade/seventh-grade wind ensemble is playing this
Many thanks, K Sullivan!
It was delightful to hear the performance of my piece at your Flute Camp a year ago. I just now found it on TH-cam. Nice job. Thank you for speaking out "Rumba" at the end. Thank you, K Sullivan. Michael Coolen

This sound good
Trash as fuck play the real thing
Very cool:)
Very beautiful, I love it!
Ok not trying to be mean, but that sucked. My middle school band sounds better than that. Most of the kids are so good (like me) that we play in the high school.
Most of these students are 6th graders and our current school administration doesn't think band is all that important and only has it scheduled twice a week for 40 minutes. There are 3-4, 8th graders in the mix, one is my daughter the flute player. She has been in district band every year she has been eligible, and AllState band the last two years. She will be trying out for NE's this year. Try not to be SO judgmental!!! Check out my other videos and see for yourself. Mostly posted this for the kids parents, I get it's not the Boston Symphony Orchestra, but at least they're trying.
I’m sorry, I said that, but I’m also in 6th grade. I played 2nd suit in F a military base march for my concert. I only practice middle school band once a week and high school band once a week.
Keep practicing, that's half the battle!! My daughter started playing flute in 4th grade and quickly surpassed all her classmates, at that point we started private lessons for her. Some students just have a natural talent for music and their instrument, most of us are just mere mortals and are destined to be in the audience, or in my case video taping the performances.
Brian Boyes Rocks!
Thanks, K Sullivan!
K Sullivan, Thank you!
Thank you, K. Sullivan!

Nice ! I especially like the orchestration and the use of percussion. It gave me some ideas for my piano arrangement.
Wow!
Congratulations! Great job!
