Allison forever
I know I did my best. It was never enough.
The definitive version
Bought their first CD in a little record store in Kalamazoo on a road trip in 97. Never heard of them and barely had $20 to my name, but loved the band name. Every few years I check back: Yep, still awesome. Nope, no one’s discovered them yet.
I love the lemonheads since “hate your friends” Lp!
Fijne avond met Evan in Groningen jaren geleden Mooie intelligente lieve man Xx
Memories...
Omg I forgot that they covered smudge!

You Love Me
Amazing
Joe Goldberg brought me here ;)
Omgosh, me too. I was such a fan back in the day and somehow never heard this. Different Drum is also an excellent cover.
Same.
Same, had to check it out after Joe mentioned it
Me too!
Me too! 😂
This is great. First it sounds like a pretty crappy and choppy guitar cover, then the singing comes along and it's like "oh.."
Smudge cover
When you give cocaine to a Kitten, still a kitten but feels like a lion, thats how local h did this song, its a fucking Lion!
Please tune that geetar!
I heard one of there songs and now I can't stop i love there music
What makes this song good is simple. Good melody, good acoustic guitar playing and a pleasant voice combine to make this a very high quality song. Kawasaki rules the street!
Nice!
Wait 'til you're announced We've not yet lost all our graces The hounds will stay in chains Look upon Your Greatness and she'll send the call out (Send the call out) Call all the ladies out They're in their finery A hundred jewels on throats A hundred jewels between teeth Now bring my boys in Their skin in craters like the moon The moon we love like a brother, while he glows through the room Dancin' around the lies we tell Dancin' around big eyes as well Even the comatose they don't dance and tell We live in cities you'll never see on screen Not very pretty, but we sure know how to run things Living in ruins of a palace within my dreams And you know, we're on each other's team I'm kind of over getting told to throw my hands up in the air, so there So all the cups got broke shards beneath our feet but it wasn't my fault And everyone's competing for a love they won't receive 'Cause what this palace wants is release We live in cities you'll never see on screen Not very pretty, but we sure know how to run things Living in ruins of a palace within my dreams And you know, we're on each other's team I'm kind of over getting told to throw my hands up in the air So there I'm kinda older than I was when I revelled without a care So there We live in cities you'll never see on screen Not very pretty, but we sure know how to run things Living in ruins of a palace within my dreams And you know, we're on each other's team We're on each other's team And you know, we're on each other's team We're on each other's team And you know, and you know, and you know
Best band ever
He shows the key to his genius here; remaking this pop hit into a lemonheAds classic
Nice job!
Good playing man

Nice! Good skills 👌Think you’ll like my guitar videos actually!
Scott Lucas is a beast
Good job bro sounds good
Legend ... Greatest taste ever
I still think only Dando knows how to sing this so that the emotion is caught. Dando captures the desperate dark soul here.
He is as much as an addict as me, I have nothing but he has the time money etc to do just what i want to do..
cliff burton tho
And this song rocks.
Cheers yo
@@evandando3168 I am hearing that almost everyone that is being aged by the poison has a 25 date (2025) Night of the Long Knives. A lot of people have the 25 Date. (2025) Look for the flip quarter (for 25) & wave short sword hand signals (for Night of the Long Knives) on TV.
man evan dando inspires the fuck out of me!
I just don't understand how this band isn't well known...
It's funny. I saw 'em when they opened for Weezer. I no longer listen to Weezer.

Mr Dando is and has ALWAYS been a large talent.......raw emotion delivered by Bostons finest songwriter
He's good, but there's a line in front of him. Magnetic Fields started in Cambridge, Mission of Burma, Galaxie 500
Such a simple wee song. Love listening to it on days when I get to laze around in the morning.
YEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!GOOODBYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
hach, so nice!!!!!
Not sure where the recording is from. I bought this cd at a show last year. It's ripped to an external hard drive and filed, so I can't check the liner notes without digging out the box it's in. But anyway, this was a disc they were selling on the "It's A Shame About Ray" tour. Mostly acoustic stuff and all really good.
I also bought this "mysterious tour cd" at The Lemonheads "it's a shame about ray" anniversary tour in 2011. I learned it was suppose to be a special fan club cd (w/ b-sides of covers, demos & live radio performances) but rather than selling it online, Dando decided to bring boxes of it on tour to sell it off instead.
Nevermind, that wasn't acoustic.
I think its from the album Car Button Cloth (1996).
