@Beatdrop for me its not the quality of the beat that sounds bad but the sounds quality, i partially blame youtube haha

@wrathallll No its windows only but Effectrix is the mac equivilant.

@layzeee Wasn't meant to sound amazing or anything. Just a demonstration of the plugin.

@djtyme2008 All the stuff at the top is for global control. The Amount, Seed, and De-Click knobs control the amount of glitching applied to the overall sound, Step Envelope works like a gate for each step in the sequence, Overdrive is pretty self-explanatory (as is the Master Filter), and then the Master Output section controls wet/dry mix and output volume. The S (Solo) button solos an individual effect, while the G (Global) button applies that effect to the sound independent of the others.

i get the each of the individual functions the circle meters for like tapestop, shuffler etc, but what about the one's on top and the S G icons... what and how are those used?

@djoxygenmusic Glitch is a VST that is used within a program like Fruity Loops,Ableton, Reason,Etc.. Check one of those workstations out first then you can load Glitch direclty into your favorite one :)

That was cool... But the one thing I hate most about dblue glitch is that thing that the trigger effect does when you catch it on an off beat and it goes really high or really low in pitch shift when it just sounds like a fart. But you really know how to work that do0hicky for all it's got... you pretty much did the best thing that you could do just using dblue.

can glitch be use on vocals too?

i've never used any software really or have any experience with anything except mixcraft & audacity- anyone reccomend where to start off easy & novice for using glitch platforms? i'm really liking mixcraft's ease of use interface if u will- it's simple & understandable- just not enough to do with it- needs ALOT more- but i've struggled with flstudio so idk... REALLY wanna use glitch -DJ Oxygen

i cant get this to work with windows 7

get a tracker like renoise or milkytracker and cut beats manually. it's alot more fun and you'll learn faster.

a 3rd party effect IS a vst... A third party genorater is a vsti so you would put both types of files in ur vst folder.

do u install glitch in the vst or in the effects folder

I think this is my new favorite toy. as soon as i can get it completely figured out.

well actually many minimal house beats got some of the patterns that dblue make so i guess if it works for minimal house theres a way to add some electro sounds in it :P
