That's what my moms MDX sounds like At cold start. My dad replaced the timing belt and tensioner sounds quiet now during start up

Hey man really need your help... i see in the video u went from the 1.4kw starter to the 2.0kw starter. What i wanta know is.... is the 2.0 kw starter the 13tooth from the 06/07 ect or is it the 2.0 kw starter with the 14 teeth from the 09 plus?

Problem is proably already fixed but i had the same problem it turned out to be my coil packs on the backside of the engine block i did all the above too thats fixed the issue

im trying to trouble shot my 2005 rx8 i brought cheap havent been able to start it ive done a deflood which i think i flooded it again when the battery ended up dieing on me, ive replaced the leads an plugs with some i had on my spare engine, ive replaces the afm/maf sensor, its getting fuel or tho it was parked up for about 3 to 4 months so i was told for a faulty starter ive put it down to a faulty battery as its turning over fine asfar as i can tell , its getting spark and has semi decent compression but out tester wasnt reading right so i need to remove the tiny tyre valve thats inside it to do the pulse style test etc, ive checked for vaccum leaks not that i could find any that stuck out as its not running an i can only see/check so much, im feeling like its a combo betwen the semi low oil an also the oil seems to need a change its pretty dark an i assume it would be making the fuel not want to burn, i assuem the cats not clogs because i was getting fuel vapor/whiteish fumes that smelt strongly of unburnt fuel any tips ? would the low oil create low pressure an stop it from starting? or is the a mix of bad fuel mix and crappy battery im yet to hear it start for the first time since ive picked it up an towed it home

Faulting the ESC does not add horsepower, morons. It just thinks that the button was stuck or something else was wrong with the system.

The car was running in low voltage. It could've been a lot more responsive without the short circuit.

That's not how they flood. Try doing that, then leaving it a few hours then restarting it. Thats how they flood. Not like this.

It's MOT stations test emission that screw these engines up. They don't know how to start them or control the idle while testing as oil is only injected when the accelerator pedals pressed. This tends to send the HC high because they burn oil naturally so they push them to get them through the test which screws up the engine. Emission rules for these cars need to change because the testing stations are damaging peoples cars especially when it comes down to rotary engines

You know how to turn the Christmas lights off right? lol while the car is on but not running, turn all the way right, then left, then turn the car off. the next time you start it they should be off.

Wasn't it the 04-05 models that had the cold shutoff flooding issue? I know they fixed it in later years or maybe it was a tuning issue of some kind on mazdas end where fuel kept going into the engine after the engine was off or what was the exact issue that kept causing flooding if that's not the case?
