Diving & Cold Plunging! Radium Hot Springs Pools

WRONG ANIMAL!! You're listening for the whistle of the PIKA!! the PIKA!! the PIKA inhabits the high country scree fields (not the Columbian ground squirrel). Columbia ground squirrels don't whistle and are commonly seen at every picnic area and campground in Glacier Park.

This requires a ~15-20 minute uphill walk in a boot path. Best done carrying skis to the top of the first rise, then you put skis back on to descend a bit. Finally, remove skis again and carry them up to the microwave tower.
I was Echo 4/10. I went to basic just the rotation previous to this on June 23.

@@freeheelvegan4878 when we were at Glacier, I lost my phone the day we met Logan to take a boat tour. (Found it later thankfully) So I had no pictures of his boat or him driving it. Family here in Ohio were asking about his work in the park and I thought that maybe someone would have a video on TH-cam that I might catch a glimpse of Logan. I searched "St. Mary boat tour Glacier NP" and scrolled until I found the ones in the time frame he has been there. Kept watching until I found one👍. So thanks!

I wished I'd done some video clips during the boat ride and not just pictures. I made some other TH-cam videos during our Glacier trip that are a much better mixture of photos & video clips.
WOW!! I lived in Whitefish for 35 years. Hiked/biked/climbed/camped in Glacier many times. Never did i see the water that high at lower McDonald falls (McDonald Creek trail). It did get that high before, but never did I see it like that. I put on over 3500 trial miles and summitted peaks over 100 times. Glacier is special, and it's the water that makes it so. Enjoy!!

Hello, I’m planning on going there this week. Is there a vehicle reservation needed to head to glacier outfitters?
You need to get a vehicle reservation to enter the park at Apgar (west side) or St Mary (east side) and to drive the GTTS road during the hours of 6 AM - 4 PM, but you don't need a reservation to get to West Glacier or Glacier Outfitters. Have fun!
