I want to take the same course. Is there any scholarship available?
Hi, thank you for reaching out, the financial aids and scholarships are changing every year, so it's better to verify with the official website of the university www.uni.lu/life-en/financial-support/scholarships/#external
Hii sirr I am sonam singh from india currently i am studying in grade 12th and after 12th i want to addmission in university of luxembourg for aeronautical engineering can u tell me how i can take addmission in university of luxembourg And plz tell me criteria for taking addmission in luxembourg university plz plz help me sir
Hi Sonam, thank you for reaching out. I am not sure if the field you are interested in, exists in the university of Luxembourg in bachelor level. Please visit the following webpage to see which majors are available: www.uni.lu/fstm-en/study-programs/bachelor-in-engineering/ The admission criteria is dependent on the program you want to apply for, specifically the required languages. In bachelor level, you might be supposed to speak a few languages. You can find all criteria in official website of the university of Luxembourg.
@LuxembourgWithChahin thank you so much sir
@@LuxembourgWithChahin sir I have one more queries from u can u plz tell me after completing my bachelor from university of luxembourg can I get placement too. Is it necessary to give ielts exam for taking admission in university of luxembourg
It really depends on the major you study and the languages you know. Different fields require different levels of language proficiency. I feel that, depending on the major, 20% to 80% of graduates find jobs. The overall unemployment rate in Luxembourg is relatively low (6.2%), and currently, the number of job openings is three times higher than the number of job seekers. However, the youth unemployment rate is unfortunately quite high in Luxembourg. At present, the youth unemployment rate is 23.7%, which is significantly above the European average of 15%. This suggests that recent graduates may face challenges in finding entry-level jobs. Despite these challenges, I still recommend studying in Luxembourg and pursuing a career here due to the many advantages the country offers for new immigrants. Please find the statistics mentioned here: www.luxtimes.lu/europeanunion/one-in-four-young-people-in-luxembourg-out-of-work/28335554.html
Regarding the language skill proof, you can find the requirements in this link: www.uni.lu/en/admissions/proof-of-language-skills/ Remember for some majors you need to know German and French as well. Please consult with the university website to understand the language of the program you want to apply.
That looks so delicious food ❤
Thank you! yes it is :)
Please help me
Please let me know how can I help you.
Hello sir
Hello Krish.
Sir pls can u show mein a real ats certificate...
I don't know what's is look like a real
it's just a piece of paper signed and sealed. it might be written on it: La presente autorisation est valable pour une durée de 90 jours à compter de la date de son émission. if you have doubt, you can send a copy of what you received to immigration office to verify that it is authentic.
Does ATS the document come in the courier at home? Or is the online portal a receive in my guichet?
mine was delivered at my home address, but this year the procedure might have changed. The Luxembourg administration tries to digitalize everything.
@ Luxembourg with chan , does university of luxembourg accept 'Ielts general' as language profiency for non eus . I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Ghana which mostly english speaki ng however it is more than 4 years now
if you have studied your bachelor program in English, you can contact the director or coordinator of the program to see if they accept it as proof of English proficiency.
@LuxembourgWithChahin I tried to several times . They said they accept it however I m not sure if they know its general or not .. please is there anyway I can contact you
You can see the following webpage to make sure what they accept as a proof of English proficiency. As I mentioned earlier, your bachelor in English can be a proof but you need to make sure they accept it beforehand. For IELTS they haven't mentioned that you need to have Academic version of IELTS necessarily, and since you have already asked directly it seems fine to me. However, I recommend you to double check it with the director of the program you want to apply for to receive a valid confirmation as the employees might not know the difference between IELTS general and academic. www.uni.lu/en/admissions/proof-of-language-skills/#
@Luxembourg with chan , do the accept non eu student who have IELTS general instead of ielts academic if you applied
Hi, thank you for your question, you're supposed to submit an IELTS academic and I don't imagine they would make an exception for you. At any rate, it's better to contact the coordinator or director of the program you want to apply for.
@LuxembourgWithChahin please do you have a way i could contact you personally, maybe via email ?

My ATS got rejected today. Had shown 90% of proof of funds through Demat account, mutual funds and ppf. Bank balance was low for my parents & me. Also i submitted bank statements and not a certificate
Hi Paarthshah, sorry to hear that 😔 and thank you for sharing your experience. All European countries these days are strict about proof of financial capacity, especially Luxembourg since the cost of living here is relatively more expensive. If you can provide more reliable proof of funds, I suggest you make an appeal and update your application, if possible. I'm not sure if this is a possibility at the current stage.
I did my masters in finance and accounting from India, am I eligible to apply for internship in luxembourg?

My 10th grade GPA 5/5 My 12th grade GPA 5/5 IETLS 7 Should I apply for bachelors in computer science? Please reply
Hi there, you have a good resume and I believe you have a good chance to succeed in this major. Bachelor in computer science now is only presented in English so you don't have to be concerned about other languages, in case you don't speak them. Computer science is one of the respected major in Luxembourg université. Now the job market is also good but it might not be the case after 3 or 5 years when you have your master degree and you want to enter the job market.
Hey, can you please share the link for private dorms?
Hi, I haven't heard about private dormitories in Luxembourg. But there are many real estate websites where you can find a room to rent. Here are a few among others: www.furnished.lu www.athome.lu www.immotop.lu www.wortimmo.lu you can also check Facebook groups but there are many scammers there, always first see the accommodations then pay for it (Scammers are not Luxembourg residents).
Expensive
Hi, Chahin. By your experience, can you tell me an estimated time in which the University answers the accommodation requests?
Hi Lucianotpin, it really depends on your luck and availability of the rooms, ranging from one week to a few months. As far as I remember, they consider priority for non-European (third national) students. So, your nationality also might have a role if they haven't changed their policy. There is no guarantee that all students receive an offer for the university residence, but based on my experience if you follow up and not give up, they will finally give you!:)
@@LuxembourgWithChahin Thanks a lot! 🙏🏻💪🏻
Much thanks for these very vital head ups on the esteemed University of Luxembourg.
Hi Olusinamorenikeji, I'm glad that you find it helpful. Thanks!
Could you please tell more details about the accommodation at 25:21 ?
Hi Youssef, thank you for reaching out! Esch commun (municipality) offers some affordable housing for students, you can apply and remain in the waiting list until one room or apartment is available. Please refer to the link below 👇 administration.esch.lu/logements-etudiants/
@LuxembourgWithChahin thank you Mr. Chahin for your useful information. I would like to know if there is any other commun (municipality) to apply for also or its only Esch ?
Hi, honestly I haven't heard about any other commun. All communes have some sort of housing program which you can find on their website, but honestly I don't think you can find something similar which includes students.

Hi sir how to apply sushi restaurant
Hi thank you for reaching out, I'm not really an expert in food industry, but generally my suggestion is ti make a special version of your resume for sushi restaurants. For instance, remove your engineering experiences if you have any. Add your restaurant experience (if you have any). Add the general experience you might have such as a shop assistant or a cashier. Print your resume and hand in personally to the sushi restaurants. I hope this helps! ☺️
Hey there, love your video. I also want to go to Luxembourg for masters in civil engineering. Can you please tell me the best sub faculty to choose and how to get "civil engineering related jobs" after graduation. Also how easy is it to get Civil engineer Jobs After Graduation??
Hi, thank you for your nice words. Unfortunately, there is only one specialty that is presented - Megastructures with a sustainable approach. You'll not feel that you become specialized in one single field after completing the program. The program is in English. However, if you are not competent in French, it'd be difficult to find a job in the construction industry in Luxembourg. Normally, French and German are one of the main requirements.
Hello... I sent a mail to the ministry to check my ats application status and they replied that they have sent a letter and gave me a tracking ID. My application was delivered on April 30. Does that mean I have got the ats accepted since they have provided a tracking number? Or there is still chance that my application was rejected? I'm asking this question out of curiosity... Kindly reply please.
Hello, thank you for reaching out. yes your application is accepted, I believe! congrats
@@LuxembourgWithChahin I hope your words become a reality soon.Thank you so much. From your experience can you please tell me if the application wasn't approved will they still send a letter? Or they will send it without providing the tracking number?
I'm not sure what they exactly do and my experience is based on people who are accepted. But normally they first ask for additional documents if an application is not complete or persuasive... At any rate, you can simply send another email to seek clarification. best luck 🤞
@@LuxembourgWithChahin Thank you so much for the information. I just received a letter from the ctie regarding a social identification number and it was also mentioned that if any personal data is incorrect, I have to inform them. Since everything was fine I didn't made any action from my side. Some people said that this social identification number is only issued to residents of lux, so it's a sign that my ats application was accepted. Is that true? But Actually I received another letter few weeks before just acknowledging my application delivery. I found this same number as ' Matricule ' in that letter also. That acknowledgement letter is sent on the same day our application is delivered. So that letter also contains this number. So I guess we can't confirm with this number that the application was accepted. Can you please reply if you have any idea regarding this. I'm a little over curious and excited that's why I'm asking such questions:) Thank you for the time.
it's my pleasure! as you mentioned, matricule, and social security numbers are the same. Having this number doesn't mean you have the residence right and it only serves as the identification number. I still believe the best way it's to clarify with immigration office if you have any doubt. They are really helpful and responsive if you contact them either by phone or email.
Cheap no problem
Hii
Hi 👋
Are there any students who get denied the ats?
of course they are people who get rejected, but normally officers here are not really strict I believe. I guess less than 15 percent of the applications get rejected.
Brother for masters how many intakes are there,is there winter intake when did enrollment will be open
it depends on the majors you apply for, but normally just one intake
for most of the majors around March, but you need check it on the university website
What is the fee for ATS application?
Hi 👋, the ATS application is free of charge, but you need pay 80 Euros later for application fee of residence permit. please refer to this website: guichet.public.lu/en/citoyens/immigration/plus-3-mois/ressortissant-tiers/etudiant/etudiant-pays-tiers.html
Where i need to submit my application Luxembourg or embassy that we have in our country?
Reply please
Hi! you might be able to send it to the Luxembourg office, but you can always post it to Immigration office in Luxembourg. Please refer to this website for formal instructions: guichet.public.lu/en/citoyens/immigration/plus-3-mois/ressortissant-tiers/etudiant/etudiant-pays-tiers.html
@@LuxembourgWithChahin so despite having Luxembourg embassy in my country I have to send the application to Luxembourg right?
You can contact the Luxembourg embassy or immigration office in Luxembourg seeking advice. They normally answer within a few days!
Hey there im from India, I’m thinking about pursuing Masters in finance from the University of luxembourg next year. How hard will it be to find job in the finance sector after graduating? My goal is to settle down there after completing my masters .
Hi thank you for your question. My major hasn't been finance, but as you probably know Luxembourg is one the most important financial and banking hubs in Europe. So, you will have a good chance to find a job after graduation in your field of study. If finance interest you, I deem Luxembourg a worthy option.
@@LuxembourgWithChahinthanks a lot for taking out your time to reply to my comment! Your video is 1 year old and you are still replying to new questions. Appreciate your effort 😊
Thank you very much for kind words 😌, it's my pleasure indeed!
I am a Cameroonian and currently planning of doing my masters in physics at the university of Luxembourg, please will it be easy for me to get a job there with this field of study?
Hi there, thank you for reaching out! I guess you know French already and this helps a lot for finding a job in Luxembourg. But, I can't tell you how much exactly you have a chance for finding a job in Luxembourg in your major.
@@LuxembourgWithChahin yes I know French already, alright I understand thanks for your response 🙏
My pleasure, I wish you all the best with your studies!
Hi sir, can I work with the ats in Luxembourg as a student ????
Hi there! thank you for reaching out, as far as I know, normally you should wait until you have a residence permit card as a student. once you arrive in Luxembourg you can start the procedure and it's not going to take too much time. Please refer to this website for reliable information: guichet.public.lu/fr/citoyens.html
@@LuxembourgWithChahin i want to inquire abou ATS , how many letter we receive from the immigration , i have sent my application one month ago and today i received a letter from them to confirm my information what is the next step if you have an idea and when will i receive the ATS thanks
Hi there! thank you for reaching out. You might received a few letters from Immigration office, some of them are only informative and you don't need to take any action necessarily. The next step is to wait to receive your ATS letter by post, provided that your application is successful. My personal advice is to send a follow up around 2 weeks later to inquire about the status of your application. They send the ATS letter normally by ordinary post and it might take some time before it reaches you. But they might give you a tracking number on request.
Do I need to submit all the mentioned documents for ATS approval through the Luxembourg consulate in my home country, or can I send them directly to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Luxembourg by myself?
Hi Xavier, thank you for reaching out. Depending on your country of residence you might be able to send your documents to Luxembourg consulate, embassy or representative in your home country. However, my personal recommendation is to directly send it to Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Luxembourg. you can find the address in this website: guichet.public.lu/en/citoyens/immigration/plus-3-mois/ressortissant-tiers/etudiant/etudiant-pays-tiers.html

Hello there!
Thank you very much for the valuabe information. Do we need to post our original diploma and transcripts for ats? As you now in Iran I should pay money to get the original documnets from government and it will take time. I have applied with my temperory documents for university for now.
Hi Hamidreza, thank you for your question! for applying for authorization to stay you don't need to provide your diploma and your admission letter suffices. pls check required documents here: guichet.public.lu/en/citoyens/immigration/plus-3-mois/ressortissant-tiers/etudiant/etudiant-pays-tiers.html At any rate, I don't think university employees are familiar with this concept (temp. and org. diploma). As a result, I guess there is no regulation for such a scenario. So, it'd be subjective, but you can always correspond with them and explain that you can provide your original diploma later on. I wish you all the success with your studies!
@@LuxembourgWithChahin Thank you for your comprehensive explanation.
I am going to send my application for authorisation to stay around mid of may, I am from India and have been admitted for masters course, My question is that, On my passport there is permanent address and currently i live at the rented place also I have got my police clearance certificate based on the current address so on which address my ATS will be delivered? Permanent or current? also do i need to provide any other document for this?
Hi thank you for reaching out and congratulations for your admission. It depends if your current and permanent address are in different country or not. normally you should provide police certificate for all countries where you have lived more than 6 months (some sources say 3 months), plus the country of residence. In requirements of ATS is mentioned only police records from country of residence, but I recommend you to include the police records from all countries you have lived in (short travels are not important). Regarding the address, I am not sure which address they use for sending the ATS, but you can request the immigration office in your application (write on the letter) or by email to send you the ATS letter in your preferred address.
Where did you submit your application for ATS? We have Luxembourg embassy in our country that's why asking
I am Harkishan from India. I am studying mba in travel and tourism management from ministry of rourism. Am i eligible for internship in Luxembourg for 3 to 4 months in travel and hospitality field.
Hi Harkishan, thank you for your question, of course you're eligible but the process might not be straightforward. First you need to find a company who agrees to do the necessary paperwork for you to get the visa. Sometimes, companies are not familiar with the process and accordingly not willing to hire people who needs extra paperwork. You can find relevant information in this link: guichet.public.lu/en/citoyens/immigration/plus-3-mois/ressortissant-tiers/stagiaire/stage-pays-tiers.html
Is it possible to do freelancing by registration sole entrepreneurship there as a student? If yes, then will the work hour restriction be counted?
Hi, thank you for your question, I don't know about the details but you can get a business permit without registering the company. pls check this link for information guichet.public.lu/en/entreprises/creation-developpement/autorisation-etablissement/autorisation-honorabilite.html
This way you don't have working hours...
For any commercial activity, you need to first get a business permit either as a company or as a person.
For ATS we should send documents to Luxembourg or in Belgium consulate in Pakistan? Should we send copies or original documents?
Hi Muhammad, thank you for reaching out. I'm not sure how it works in Pakistan, but as you said the process can be different depending on the country.
after taking admission letter then we should apply for ATS? By the way i submit my application to university and didn't received any response yet
I hope you get your admission as soon as possible, but there is no specific timing for receiving the results. Some departments give the results very late unfortunately. I recommend you to apply for ATS as soon as possible because the posting process might take some time. They might give you a deadline for sending your documents to make sure you receive your visa in time. The deadline doesn't depend on the date you receive your admission letters. It's to make sure that you don't miss the start of the semester.
btw, the process for applying for the ATS might experience some changes this year, make sure you receive up-to-date information.
Please Sir the Application letter should it be a type one for the first name , surname and address only or it should be an explanation to the documents you are presenting
Hi there; thank you for reaching out! I don't really know what the application is. it's the first time I've heard! It can be a cover letter or a letter of motivation, but it's better to correspond with the University to make sure what it is.
I'd like to do medecine program. And I'm international, that i have chances to get in.
Honestly I haven't seen many international students study médecin in the University of Luxembourg, because I believe it requires good German and French knowledge! so, not many international students can apply for it. Unless, there is a specific program which requires only English knowledge! keep in mind, my major wasn't medicine, so I don't know much about it :)
