I grew up around various types of well off and rich people. 1)high earners who were also high spenders. 2)old money people who poor people wouldn’t notice to be rich very fast, but you can learn the signs to spot these people 3)”looking poor” people like my family who were medium high earners but quite frugal in many ways.

I’m going to throw this at you. My friend is working for a mortgage contractor and they have a contract with Wells Fargo. A couple months ago Wells Fargo has 900,000 properties in the first stage of foreclosure. Bank of America has over 2 million homes in foreclosure. People have been using the HARP program to refinance their homes. If you’re using the HARP program by September if you’re not making your house payment you will be foreclosed on. The HARP program ends in September 2021. So what usually happens when millions of homes go into foreclosure a huge recession like we had in 2008. According to my friend it’s not looking good. If you made good money so far in 2021 in the stock market. I suggest that you take a distribution before September.

It's obvious you're pretty well off and could've paid cash for a car to begin with. Most people can't afford to pay cash for a car, yet they need reliable transportation, so they finance. The problem is, they finance more car than they can afford.

Many ppl are financially fit and money smart. That means using a credit card for free money. Never leave free money on the table. We use the credit card for monthly budgeted expenses. Yes, we pay the card in full every month. So credit cards with rewards are great for the disciplined financially smart person.

So far, this is the truth I ever heard since the last year.
