My driver's seat had the same issue after I received the car from the customer service center, it was broken so they replaced it. And another part I had changed was the steering wheel control buttons, I have a 2021 model, and in around 15k miles the buttons I use most just peeled off, I'm super disappointed with the quality honestly.

I do feel your unit was either improperly used or. Had factory defects. I had mine and drive it's since a couple of months. (explorer st 2021 fully loaded ) and no issues at all. It works flawlessly. I recently reach the 6k milles and nothing wrong with it.

Sorry yr having problems. That's what scares me about buying a newer vehicle so complicated especially the electronics Too many things to go wrong. Lest we forget, new vehicles are so expensive. Simplicity is a thing of the past. Good luck getting problems solved.

The updates are pretty minor. The recall is for the glass top and front windshield. They have to reapply and use different adhesive and glass. The winter time range is normal. But you can counter it … i auto start my car and get my car heated while it’s on the charger that way i don’t have to use much energy.

Sounds like your Ford dealership is trying to rip you off, they will buy the car off you for us lower price as they possibly can they will sell it so fast because they have people waiting on it. Try another Ford dealership

They didn’t take any warning off. It’s still ,also don’t rush to get the recalls done because they told me that the glass could crack while doing it and then they would have to order a new one. So they said I should wait until the stock is full.

I'm having problems with getting the update, Ford Motor Company had to step in do to the dealer being unable to install the update manually. I have recieved the letter from the dealer to make an appointment to have the recall scheduled but I'm unable to schedule an appointment do to the dealer not being able to reach a service adviser to make an appointment. So I'm going to wait and let the Ford motor company deal with it.
