Hi! How do I reinstall the hard nose bridge on my radars?
Hello! Has the hard piece of the nose bridge come off? Or just looking to replace the nose pads? We can also jump on a call and help walk you though that!
This is really a great message to show how much an owner cares about their biz. Well done!
Which model are these? I love thrm
Thanks
do the hole 🕳️ is visible?
You forgot to mention that for Hawaii Blue and Green lens although they are based on gray lenses the mirror coatings changes the color you perceive when looking through them and it is brown instead of gray .

Hi!
Thanks for making a video about readers by not actually putting on any of the readers.
Absolutely!
I'm having a problem with fitting my new earsocks on my radar ev's. The bottom hook isn't holding the earsock into place on either side. The keep popping off the hook. I've tried everything
Maybe too much tension pulling it towards the rear of the temple? It can take a lot of pressure as well. If you can’t get we would be happy to send you a postage label to ship them in and we will mount or replace.
It takes a little know how. I had problems with me radar ev socks. But finally after trial and error I figured that had to be stretched way over the hook to catch at top and at exactly the right angle to lock fully into place. If u dont work on Oakley sunglasses for a living it could be difficult. After I figured out one side i took off the other and mounted it better than it came from the factory. Completely flush now.
When I was looking at prescription sunglasses I told my optometrist no way am I spending that much money. I put them on and stared at the Maui Jim color display then tried on two other pricey competitors, MJ hands down. That MJ rose color makes colors pop and you can wear in lower light levels. Went with World Cups, use for snowboarding on sunny days with no snowfall. Fan for life!
They are the best! Once you have had Maui Jim sunglasses with or without prescription it is hard to go back to anything else.
By the way. I know it sounds crazy. But trust me. If you like the Maui Rose lenses for most conditions to early day/overcast all the way to pretty bright, then you will love the Maui Green lenses for medium bright all the way to as bright as can be. Somehow they are brother/sister lenses, although you would never know it by just looking at them. They both make everything nice and rosy and gorgeous and they are both good for a wide range of conditions which happen to overlap perfectly. The Rose lenses are better for lower light and the Green are better for brighter light. I LOVE the Maui Sunset. Maui Sunset is the Maui Rose lens with a beautiful pink mirror that has a gorgeous range from purple to pink to a hint of yellow and red and even a touch of greenish hint barely from the right angles. Gorgeous. But it’s a completely different experience looking out and they just simply do not have that rosy outlook. The Maui Green lenses somehow through MJ lens witchcraft actually DO give you the Maui Rose colored outlook, albeit with lenses that no one looking at you will have any clue are actually providing you with that rose-colored glasses effect. I also love the Blue Hawaii lenses. The Blue Hawaii lenses give the subtlest of bronziness to the view-but it’s very subtle bronze compared to the reasonably more substantial/noticeable rosy effect the Maui Green lenses provide. Of course, this is my 2¢ perspective, no more or less. Now, I have been a fan since the late 90s, and a loyal and enthusiastic MJ fan-maybe even evangelical bordering on zealous-since the early/mid 2000s. I have dropped 1 pair into the ocean blue, 1 pair into the PeeDee River (while grabbling for channel cats-pulled out a decent little 45 lb cat from its hole under a boulder), once I left on on a shelf above a rack of suits in a fine menswear shop for about 90 seconds before realizing it and racing back into the store after taking about 6-7 steps into the parking lot…only to find a store with no customers, 3 employees, and no one with “any idea” where they went or what could have happened to them during those 6-7 steps. That pair were some of my all time favorite MJ sport titanium HINGELESS rimless frames-they were the bigger pair that you didn’t see quite as often as the others, and I still miss them DEARLY to this day. Still salty. In any event, those 3 [possibly 4?] are the only pairs that I have lost that i can recall right this second. (There are definitely those 3 but I think I many be missing one I feel something is telling me. It’s not beyond the pale to imagine myself attempting to forget the especially traumatic devastating Maui Jim losses.) Counting the 3 pairs that I have lost, with the pairs in my current MJ collection is a total of 12 pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses. 14 if you include my Zeal Big Timbers or my Zeal Cloudfalls, which is the only other sunglasses company (which is owned by Maui Jim and under MJ’s corporate umbrella for anyone unaware). So, when I say that you are onto something with your appreciation of MJ’s Maui Rose lenses, I must emphatically and wholeheartedly agree-and I would just as vehemently and earnestly and wholeheartedly add that if you love the Rose, you will love the Maui Green. It’s really only a matter of whether or not you appreciate the aesthetics of the green mirror lenses for yourself. Honestly after i looked out with them on, I didn’t care anymore what they looked like from the other side-it just didn’t matter anymore. Incidentally, they look absolutely amazing from the other side and they are truly beautiful to look at and match such a broad range of color schemes. Like I said just my 2¢ but not a “fly by night” MJ lens opinion. Spent way too many hours over way too many years analyzing these darn frames and lenses.
when you're going to be live auction online again on maui jim?
No plans yet. Usually we do them when we are raising funds for the community or someone in need.
put the sunglasses in front of the camera to see through them
On it. Keep watching and we will add that. Thanks for the advice.
You know what my problem with maui Jim is? I'm not one of those people that can just buy one and say "Oh YES. I will be wearing these the rest of my life". No..I have to collect and hoard. So Ray Bans are more affordable for that. I can't even imagine trying to collect Maui Jim.s. But I really really really really want the pink mavericks lol
It's an addiction. We all have to stick together.
Specs Rx it is and I thought I was just crazy UNTIL I started watching TH-cam and searching for sunglasses. I found shade review and was shocked at how many sunglasses he has. So now I feel better when someone catches me watching reviews of sunglasses for an hour even though I have 7 pairs of ray bans lol
I'm on board on this now I have 4 Maui Jim's , 3 Revos , 2 Serengeti's and 1 Chromance Ray Ban
Damn she is pretty! Looks like she has an amazing body
You should see her through a polarized lens.
Specs Rx I would love to see her without...........
@@SpecsEyewear WHY?!! We wouldn't want to remove her "glare"! She's indeed damn pretty & looks like young Rene Russo.., any relation?! 😉
Thank you!
