I did both mufflers and 1 resonator pops are good but I think the stock cats can’t handle it did you have a similar issue?

I put an intake on my 08 v6 coupe and the emgine light comes on. Did you change out the MAF sensor? Or get a tune?
The MAF connected directly to the new intake i bought. I did not need a tune for any codes afterwards. If you want better power, then tune it.
@I_Am_cq813 My MAF connected right in to. But it codes after 50miles.
@@rogerbotelhojr4928 might have to replace it or clean it then... i think they sell cleaner for the piece as well you could try.
In the video you said 20% for back window and 28% for sides, how comes in 2021 you posted 15%? I also need help customizing mine do you got instagram?
Hey! Yes back when this video was posted it was originally 20% back window, 28% side windows and had it redone to 15% all around 2 years later. The tailights were always 15% as i had them done by a seperate shop than the window tint. I do have instagram, but never posted the car. chris_q813 is my tag. Wound up selling the car in this video and bought a 2015 manual v6 coupe that will be an awesome project for youtube. Literally just bought it a week ago today so ill make a video explaining why i bought it and the rarity, etc.

I just bought a 2012 with like no miles cause someone died and her kids grew up and sold it. I live in NYC but when I get out on a open road it just sails along. Wheee! I used to be the queen of speeding tickets but I'm older and an established lawyer now so that won't be a problem. It handles great in the winter too. Just had a storm recently and great traction, no sliding, course I know how to drive.

I just bought a 2012 with like no miles cause a woman bought it and died and her kids grew up and sold it. Such a great car. I just spent an hour digging it out of the ice.
Update November 2022: I wound up selling the car a few months ago. Front end went out on it, no accident, just awkward steering mechanisms (steering rack, steering column and steering pump, AKA $4000+ later). I sold it as it was just getting to be too much on maintenance and i honestly wasnt driving it. I sold the car with about 111,000 on it and it ran fine, but being that i had 3 cars at the time it was smart to sell with the used car market being so high. Currently im driving an 06 accord 5 spd as a commuter and looking at getting a mk5 supra in the future. Ones i get the supra (bmw same thing) ill make some videos with that :)

How did you tint the tail lights? I know the 8.5 gen has the newer tail lights and you can't easily wrap tint around them. I tried.
Window Tint, took a lot of trial and error it was a pain

i have a muffler delete w a aftermarket res n a air intake w 2.5 inch piping after the res all the way to 3.5 inch tips out the back n i think it sounds great everyone thats ever heard it thinks it does too, whered u get the white lettering for ur tires
When you did the wheels did you do inside the wheel like back where the brake calipers are?
Personally no, i cleaned them out, but wound up not spraying them. Honestly didnt have enough to get the insides and it seriously is unnoticeable unless you were to take the wheel off and look. If just plasti dipping id recommend against spraying the barrel.

100% recommend getting an intake with an exhaust, really compliments eachother well
@@i_am_cq8139 do you know any good exhaust?
@@astrogunna5382 no matter what exhuast you go for, (only if u want it loud) delete the secondary catalytic converter. It isnt illegal and heavily opens up the exhaust. Id even recommend a downpipe but at that point you'e going to be looking at a tune and $$$. Magnaflow makes a solid exhaust (a little quiet imo) but if u were to delete the cat it'd be nice. Theres always the custom route like i did or you could start by taking the rear mufflers off and go from there! The rear muffler delete is heard in the clip of the car driving from outside the car. The other clips in the video are of the final and current exhaust.

I'm sure others have said it, but the "i did the tire lettering, cuz ya know, it adds more hp to the car" lolol i love it. I have a similar year 4 door V6 and i'm trying to make it remotely as sharp as yours. Love it man

Sorry for the super delayed response on this... Exhaust was surprisingly cheap, 3-400 at the most once all said and done. Ill be posting an update video soon on where the car is currently. Hopefully you got one finally!
