Source for picture: B_Chris8/status/1602694272922390528?t=eA8Zbzu-EXfTCWX3cS2wAA&s=19 1 hour compo from last year. Imagined it as a cinematic in an adventure game, or maybe the soundtrack that plays when pulling the sword out. Hope you enjoy!! #VGM #DTM #Gameaudio #gamemusic #magicavoxel #voxel #voxelart

JonReyTrevino/status/1614368349533753344 Tried to do classic chiptune with soundfonts to this cool gif. Didn't quite get the sound I wanted, but went for some mega man vibes! Hope you enjoy~ #VGM #DTM #Gameaudio #gamemusic #16bit #Chiptune #pixelart #ドット絵 #megaman

NOP_Pixels/status/1610675619389472769 Still sitting on a bunch of tunes from Chiptune January last year. I don't have time to make a lot this year, but I figured I'd start uploading the ones I have:) I'd imagine doing repetitive work like mining would make my mind wander. Hope you enjoy! #VGM #DTM #Gameaudio #gamemusic #16bit #Chiptune #pixelart #ドット絵 #snesmusic

DesiraeSalmark/status/1423719976238682113 I really love dez's style! Always full of energy and character, and gotta love the half-tone patterns and chromatic abberation. Tried to make the music mysterious and majestic, with a tinge of threat. #VGM #Gameaudio #gamemusic #pixelart #ドット絵

AnasAbdin/status/1496830285517840393 One hour challenge to make music for this wonderful gif by AnasAbdin. Hard to know what vibe to go for with the bright but swampy setting, but rather happy with this! Hope you enjoy! #VGM #DTM #Gameaudio #gamemusic #16bit #Chiptune #pixelart #ドット絵

Myartbytes1/status/1603621696015335424 This nice pic by Ryan h has awonderful serenity to it, but the bright colors made me want to write some goofy anime comedy music. Hope you enjoy! #VGM #DTM #Gameaudio #gamemusic #16bit #Chiptune #pixelart #ドット絵

Woah i got recommended this. 😎🔥🕺 ✨🌟👍
Nice! Thanks for the comment:D
Something feels unique about the rhythm, is this in 7/4? That is just my guess from trying to count along, either way it is cool!
Thanks!! And yeah! The pick axe sound is an ostinato with 7 beats repeating throughoutwhule fir the rest I kinda ignored the grid and just wrote what I heard and I think it kinda fluctuates between groups 6, 7 and 8 beats :)
Love it
Thank you! This is one of my favorites that I did 😁
Really nice!
Thank you thank you 😊😊😊😊
Sounds like a Pokemon GSC song! I like it!
Ooh that is one of my all time favourite soundtracks, so thank you!!! Then maybe you'll like this, it's like a classical symphony movement for gameboy chip inspired by pokemon music :v th-cam.com/video/OenOtaizwog/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Nbr8g1b0cGUoBf2B
This is extremely good
Thank you so much 💖
Made Ear Happy. Are Gives Appraisal.
🙌🙌🙏
I absolutely LOVE how this sounds! Makes me think of a giant floating island city in the sky...
Haha awesome! I guess I pretty much hit the nail on the head then!
@@OdinComposer yep!
this gave me chills
Ooh fitting the cold theme! Where in the song? :o
@@OdinComposer at around 0:57, such a cool song
@Blav2 I love hearing it could induce chills, and I thought nobody liked this one because of the lack of engagement haha. Thank you so much for your comments ❤
Love the chrono trigger instruments
Thanks! And yeah me too, they are great 🤘
Sounds great!
Thank you so much!!
❤❤❤
🤗🤗🤗
Excelente trabajo! 💖💖💖
¡Muchas gracias!
This is the musical equivalent of riding a bike for the first time, good stuff
Haha thanks! I hope this bike can fly
nooo myla :(
Oh no ?
✨✨<3
This is fantastic ^-^
Thank you so much!!
Love it! But I would also focus on giving it more variety in terms of volume. All the notes are the same volume which makes it seem really bland
Thank you!! And you're right about volume curves, though not to excuse your useful feedback, but all these little tunes are made in an hour with minimal touchup after, so I end up focusing on getting the notes in first and foremost haha!
@@OdinComposer I get that. Just keep it up, it can only get cooler and more fun
This is what setting sail at sunrise sounds like, p sure 👌👌👌 (accidental alliteration galore to boot lol)
Oooh yeah that's the feeling 🙏 (nice)
Nombre del juego
The art is from here twitter.com/65535dot/status/1522911875930882049 I just made the tune in an hour as a challenge:)
@@OdinComposer Nice!
someone was high
Great piece ! Which software are you using ?
Thank you! I write in cubase using retro game soundfonts loaded into sforzando or juicySF VSTs. The visualizer is called ALMAMPlayer :)
@@OdinComposer Ok thanks !
I really love this one, I adore the very subtle rhythm changes, makes it feel very unique and catches your attention!
Thank you! And well noticed! Even a seasoned musician friend I showed this to didn't notice that anything was strange with the rhythm which I take as a big win haha. Like it's not up in your face complexity, it just adds some freshness to it!
So lovely - majestic is exactly the word I'd use to describe this, and the midi trumpets somehow just add so much to it, like the start of a heroic journey
Thank you so much!! The trumpet somehow seemed to be very fitting, with how it sticks out from the environment just like the lighthouse, and the brilliant character is kinda like shining a light, or being bathed in sunlight like in the pic y'know?
Look guys, look! It's Dr. Zomboss!
Where?! Time stamp please?
@@TPDManiacXC626 He vaguely resembles the grey-headed creature with the green body and wings.
@@TPDManiacXC626 He repeatedly appears as the background video loops.
@@hypanusamericanus9058 Yeah, he's got the head with the fish body. I see it now.
This needs more attention I like the old Dragon Quest vibes
Ooh I never really played dragon quest, does it remind you of a particular soundtrack? And thanks!
Makes me feel so nostalgic!!!
Retro sound magic 😊
the background is really nice 😂😂
I had to track down the spongebob episode. Was a whole little adventure 😂
@@OdinComposer 33a "Shanghaied"
thank you for this wonderful visualiser
It seems it couldn't handle the bpm being set to 1 og kinda broke down at the end 😂
My favorite! It reminds me a little of Chrono Trigger.
Thank you for listening! There miiiight be some chrono trigger sounds in there hehe
Amazing
Thank you!
Very nice song!
Thank you!
I dont know so much english, only i said that is very cool
Thank you, Arids!
This is really good! you should make more of these intense music types.
Thanks so much! Maybe you'll like this one: th-cam.com/video/cJmhfIhrOCs/w-d-xo.html
its criminal that this is so underated.
Haha thank you!
Wow man please make more. Yt recommended the video randomly (as it often does). I wish you that thing where you get chosen by the god algorithm and your channel blows up
Wow thanks for listening and for the lovely comment ☺☺ There's definitely more on the way, though they're all pretty different! Can't help but doing a different genre for each one. I suspect original retro game music like this is a bit too niche for the algorithm god, but let's hope for the best 🙏
Man, I love these visualizations. Great way to see how you orchestrated the piece-not to mention the sense of speed and “floating over it all” in this one
Thanks so much! Much credit is due to Almam for the visualizer: almam.itch.io/almamplayer
This is one of the best songs composed.
Wow thank you!!! What makes it so?
nice work, you did a great job of what an metro attack would sound like
Haha good to hear. Thank you!
This slaps, nice job king
Thank you!
i love this so much!! it definitely gives off homey vibes!
Thank you so much ☺️☺️
this was a christmas MIRACLE to my ears

Wow, beautiful composition💓💐
Thank you so much :>
Interesting. I found one of your comments on a video regarding serialist music, so decided to check out your music from the same time ago (four years), and this is nice.
Oh that's interesting, thanks for checking it out! What video was it? I don't remember what I've said haha
why tho
Why are there dungeons in video games 🤔🤔
Chrono trigger vibes
