    Hey Ben, thanks for the tutorial and downloadable files, really great tutorial and clear instructions - I am currently testing the 'sequential' version of your flow, but it is currently up to 16hrs+. Does this pull all the data from planner/teams as whole and then run smaller scheduled flows to top up the excel spreadsheet tables (so to speak?), or will this run everyday and pull everything (again, another potential 16hrs+)?

    Thank you! Great vid, very helpful! BUT, those limitations are total show stoppers. I'm looking forward to when fabric matures, but it sure doesn't seem ready for prime time yet. And it seems that the "guard rails" are likely to be serious limitations. You mention row limitations, but what about width? Also, I hope there is a plan to develop a path for translating PBIs in desktop to use this. If I have to rebuild all of my models from scratch, that is another block. What I don't understand is where all of the data modeling that I currently do in azure sql would happen in this new world? I hope this evolves to be usable - conceptually it's great. But for now, it doesn't appear to be a viable option for real world use - yet!

      I think the idea is that you do your data modeling in Power Bi as a semantic model for Fabric.

      @@ws3457 Yeah there's no way I could efficiently do the extensive modeling required to create a star schema in pbi. That needs to happen earlier in the chain of events (upstream), as per Roche's Maixm!

    I am attempting to import the package into Power Automate and, after changing the import setup to "Create as new", I am not able to see or assign connection for each resource type. Do you have thoughts on the cause?

    • @BenHoward_PowerBI
      @BenHoward_PowerBI 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, you need to set up connections for each resource type, you can do this from the connections tab in Power Automate, click on New Connection, and then it's best to use the search box in the top right (eg Excel) and then create your connection. Hitting refresh then back in the Power Automate import wizard on the connection will show you the new connection for the relevant connection type.

    Thank you for this! However, what happens if you use python to generate csv files each month which contains new records. Is it still possible to update Power BI dashboards with the latest csv file?

    Thank you for this example. I am having 1 issue. All of the task are not being removed so I'm getting an error. I have duplicates. Any ideas on how I need to modify the flow to ensure that all of the existing data gets removed. So that I get a complete data refresh?

    Hi Ben, any suggestions where we have 27+ plans so the flow is taking a long time. I also removed the parallel flows and made it concurrent as it constantly errored out..
