Dude, do yourself a favor and get a sword ditch those useless guns, seriously you will be glad you did. Sorry was all frustrated for you dealing with those guns, worst weapons IMO
I've found the sword is definitely better, but I personally prefer the range, because I'll forge to keep track of my health, especially with bosses lol. I have recently switched to using the sword more often though.
Great Vid man! Keep it up :)
I would recommend in future when you are just sitting there idle, that’s a great part to cut from video. Not exciting to watch you do nothing. Also, I recommend you build you house higher. I would make a ramp, then right next to your base, place a wooden door that opens down. (To drop zombies if needed and break path to your house when you are not there. Fill ramp with spikes, then make a ladder that you can use to access house. House should be at least 12 blocks high, I recommend more if possible. But by creating ramp with spikes, you control zombie pathing to your house.
Also, make a bone knife, harvest all animals you kill with it. Even snakes. Next, put a point in Iron gut and cardio should always be your first 2 points. Last, yes, heat attracts screamers, screamers still summon more screamers, can quickly become nightmare. I recommend keeping spikes and blocks on your hot bar. (Use blocks to nerd pole up side of building, then when they break bottom blocks, as long as your higher blocks are attached to building, you’re safe. Drop spikes to kill dogs and zombies until u have better weapons. You should also be able to make bandages to stop bleeding. Harvest cotton if needed. Good luck! Keep at it!
Good video, Kingsvein Its a good game too
I just started playing this too - this helped a lot. Great job :D
That base looks awesome - great job. I didn't think to use my follower as a mule! I've been struggling with storage so much in the early game, so thank you ^^

Thank ye! Take Two is getting put up on my channel while we work on the actual infantry action parts
Is this in arma?
For the first part at least
Yes. It is all in Arma 3.
I wish I could join the old Rancor team again
We still be runnin! Liger is in charge now. Idk what terms you left on though
Comin at ya from Rancor Batt. Thrasher 1-1’s one and only “RAGE”
Lies and Slander lol
dropped this game cuz of shitty UI
Ay yo fun times 1v1v1 Marine OP
Bro how do you use ability crest? I use it like how I use essence stone on a crew member. And it only says ability slot +1 but i dont even see anything that enables me to pick an ability
You have to assign it a class, then assign the specific ability.
Hey earthknite
my god it sooo good
Ah. Thaaaats what you meant lmao.

Great first episode. Can’t wait to watch the rest of this series.

After playing the game for the last few days I see why you like using the spellsword on your main character, let's put it that way : P Let me tell you this much: Don't underestimate the breakers, or at least try to have "normalized" equipment when fighting against them because when an unique piece of equipement (in my case, armor) gets broken, there's no recycling that (and it sucked too since it had a boost for a weapon skill the character was highly proficient at). Also: if you're looking the ability tablets: they are a guaranteed reward for completing the labirynth (which refreshes every in-game week after the last visit). Oh, and I have today found out that in the fifth combat encounter you only need to have one character reach the stairs hidden behind a blockade (which only requires one attack to be destroyed) in order to be able to reach the final treasure room. Weirdly enough, I haven't been selling my gems or "old equipment" and have been running on exploration, discoveries (some mods make a lot easier getting the rarer entries, and have new entries entirely) and good old trading only occasionally fighting a random neutral merchant ship (also managed to win against a pirate fleet one time, yaay) and I have been oscilating around 100k gold (but then again I only have 2 frigates and 2 carracks in my fleet, so that's that) On the topic of ability crests: I suggested dash mostly as a movement ability to a melee focused fighter because free movement is kind of invaluable in a tactical rpg(even if it's once every x time units), arguably warpblade's ability is better. But then I myself have used one ability crest to give focus to my ranged attacker for that focus+sniper passive combo (and a ability from a modded class that in some situations kinda enables one-shotting enemies meaning potential free exp and elimination without initiating a combat - mostly early, early-mid game enemies) My playstyle for now is focused on focusing on one party when it comes on-land exploration, it worked kinda well thus far (Especially with the increased number of explorable places, but I haven't been playing with Groverhaul so that... kinda evens out?). I guess I'll see how far that will take me : | When comes about naval combat: I only have one boarding party so the rest of the fleet is equipped with grapeshot and culverins/demi-culverins and it kinda worked in weakening the crew of the ship about to be captured (I kinda have been giving my excess equipment to other crew members, it's that I simply haven't been crafting anything specifically for the "on the ship only crew")
Hey, decided that I'll buy the game today I'm playing with a lot more hmmm "content" and "class" mods on my first playthrough, but been having fun in the beginning parts I have found all the classes to unlock Krakenslayer during my first session somehow (including the Krakenslayer itself and its location, well... it's weird that's for sure)
Woohoo! I hope you enjoy the game!
W gameplay
I wonder if the elementalist stones are like shrines in this world, i.e. would praying to them do something?
It is translated that way from what the book and people say about it. Though its more of a meditation support. Theyre set in locations with a high amount of that kind of mana
I wonder if investing an ability stone for your main melee dps to get dash (a movement ability that doesn't end your turn, but it has a cooldown, I believe) would be a good idea
I guess the lesson from all this is: Don't put your crew single file when fighting against Ignis Knights?
It really depends on the composition lol. But yes
look like a good game
The fact that the warpblade requires you to have gate related experience in order to be able to use that class makes me believe that using Gate was indeed the intented way in (As you have decuced)... even if the mod changed the class requirements to be logical for a physical class, I guess?
Have you obtained the keystone from that tomb, because I haven't noticed : I
I dont think i found one in that Tomb. Ik not all Tombs have a key
Oh, it seems you're now at the point where Groverhaul makes enemies in Groves non-lootable... except for the un-equipped items when you come back to the battlefield after winning the battle... or maybe it only works with certain races? If you run out of Groves what would be a good source of finding new skill tablets, I wonder
Life triggers turn the weapon into a sort-of healing stick? I mean it's obvious from the name, but I wonder what the application of that would be
Undead. They are weak to life as they are animated by ruin
Were there any encounters where shocking the tree would mean blasting the enemies?
There are. Its a unique method for this area
I wonder if you could merge a Volskarn piece of equipment and a trigger to give it elemental properties
Volskarn actually adds another slot for enchantment. That is used to make up for its standard lack of damage.
Oh, hey! You have one of my mods. I made the Runeblade class mod. Thanks for checking it out.
Definitely looking forward to trying it out! Thank you for your hard work on the mod.
And now I have officially caught up to the latest upload in the lp, yaaay The game sure looks quite interesting. Have you considered playing other mods in an another playthrough in the future?
Possibly. Most mods add classes or small things. I have most mods already on that increase locations like Groverhaul. I do keep an eye out just in case, and have considered making my own custom classes as well. Only time will tell.
Maybe the class exp works similarily to the system in ff tactics: when acquiring a new job, you get some exp towards the freshly unlocked job... or is it a percentage of exp obtained of all your crew members either in your active party or all of your crew?
In ship combat, any ship that contributes gets a bit of the exp. Only those that are brought along in the party gain large amounts of exp.
Gauntlets increasing strength? Do I see a Final Fantasy Tactics reference here? (I mean that and a lot of abilities of Scout and Sailor remind me of Squire from that game. Also insert a comparison between Sage and a White Mage and Sorcerer and a Black Mage : P) Breaking weapons? That sounds similar to the Knights from that game .__.
Yes lol. It definitely reminded me of that and my buddy Charmer reminded me of that after editing.
I wonder... are the base game Groves are overall much easier (when you are tackling them with "on par" equipment and skill sets)?
I dont remember tbh. I havent played vanilla in a minute. But i believe they are much easier, usually only 1 combat and 1 treasure room.
great video man :)
Glad you enjoyed it
Started watching the series and I'm thinking: Is this game more for people interested in job-based tactical combat or sea-faring games (well the trading, the fact that you need food to upkeep your crew makes the game seem kinda similar to Mount&Blade in those regards, I guess?)
Its kinda both. You manage crew and their classes, and the combat in both ship and land are turn based RPG style. I cant remember the exact term off the top of my head rn. As i mentioned, it makes me reminisce of Sid Meiers Pirates mixed with a TBRPG
I agree, it is similar in crew upkeep to Mount&Blade.
what mods are you using? also, good beginnings! :)
Had to start a new run, and I listed the mods in that series.
Why is the quality in general so awful lol
My recording software has been having issues recently. Between the new monitor and Nvidia bein weird, its a bit wonky. Thankfully now that ive actually got my setup back up, I can use my OBS and hopefully the quality is better in general. May take a bit to adjust though
nice video ! 💪
Thanks 🔥
nice video ! 💪
It's been 5 years when r u gonna finish it? Lol
Between the Navy and deployments, I didn’t even realize it’d been so long. By Irene, i still had braces on when i recorded this one. Ill see if i cant do a redo soon. Will probably start completely over.
