my mom lives next to a section 8 house. they always throw parties and someone got shot in yhe head and killed there and they stayed living there throwing parties. disgusting

If you can't afford to live somewhere, come and degrade it by making it worse via section 8. Also, HOA's can also prohibit Airbnb properties, which only destabilize any family oriented communities.

I know of good neighborhoods that have been ruined by section 8.

Something that any household can do just fine. Just because you do it for 5+ buildings doesn't make you any less of a leech. My family has been houseowners for ages, and property upkeep is the easiest part of owning a house. Go get a real job or run into tr*ffic.
