The Becca Top is a classic summer lace crochet top that effortlessly unifies a dainty lace at the chest married with an opaque fabric of clustered crochet stitches starting at the Bust for modest coverage that continues to the body for a delightfully sophisticated style. Create an easy weekend project with gorgeous results that you’ll be excited to show off. Mix and match this top shorts, skirts, jeans and dresses to maximize your wardrobe.
Materials:
4mm crochet hook (or hook to obtain gauge- Ophire Co. Opal used in sample)
#3 DK weight yarn (Lion Brand Coboo in Olive used in sample)
Measuring tape
Darning Needle
Scissors
Blocking Materials: optional

Construction:
The Becca Top is worked top down starting with the Top Front piece, after you have completed the Front, you will re-join your yarn to the foundation Chain and create a neck opening, then finishing an identical Back Top piece. The body is then worked in joined turning rounds that require no seaming!

Yes, I am in the states so I use inches but you can always check out the size chart and convert it in centimeters to find which size to make.

I couldnt access any of that info without buying the pattern. But i need to know how many skeins i need to guess the cost before i buy patterns
@@fionascheibel977 The yardages are listed in the pattern description for each size. I can't say for certain how many skeins you would need since all brands have different yardages.

I think this is a really cute cardi.....BUT....If ur not a size medium this is not a "free pattern" I mean if u've been crocheting for a while im sure u could adjust the pattern based off this tutorial but if ur a beginner and bigger / smaller than a medium u have to pay to get the pattern.....
Hi, you could always purchase the full pattern and follow along to your desired size. The point of my tutorials are to help those who have purchased the pattern, or just following along to this size; who may be visual learners so they can enjoy crocheting garments too. Also wanted to add that since this is a part of my paid pattern any part of that pattern I share without prior purchasing IS in fact a free pattern.

Do you put a lining inside of it so that it wont be itchy? And how do you prevent it from getting scratched up and warn out?
This is an acrylic yarn so it's not itchy like a natural fiber like wool. I'm also allergic to wool so I don't use it often. If I do happen to use it I have a long sleeved one piece top I wear under it to minimize my skins exposure.
