We will look at the magical and simplified landscapes of Etel Adnan as we play with color. To do this exercise at home you could draw 2-4 simple landscapes, using just a few lines to create mountains, sky and sun or moons, and then play with the colors of those things. Maybe the sun is a saturated red on a dull blue background in one painting and then that same landscape has a dark green sun and dull yellow background on the next.
