A LOCAL’S GUIDE TO THE BEST LÁNGOS IN BUDAPEST, HUNGARY
1. LÁNGOSH AT ST STEPHEN’S BASILICA
From Lángosh, you'll have a view of St Stephen’s basilica.
The fried dough was tasty and light, thanks to the soft edges.

2. RETRO LÁNGOS BUDAPEST AT ARANY JÁNOS STREET
Its kiosk was located at Arany János street metro station. However, when the metro line renovation started in 2020, so they opened a store opposite the metro station.
Their menu also contains stuffed lángos, moreover lactose- and gluten-free lángoses. The tasty lángos is crispy outside and fluffy inside.

3. LÁNGOS PAPA ON ANDRÁSSY AVENUE (TEMPORARILY CLOSED)
Lángos papa is not an average lángos place on Andrássy avenue. They provide cutleries and the lángos is served on an actual plate.
Don't expect street food prices while dining on Andrássy avenue. These were the most pricy lángoses, though the taste was one of the best!

4. LIGETI LÁNGOS AT CITY PARK
If you're wandering around City Park, look for the pavilions and the lángos kiosk in the brick building.
The potato lángos menu contains the basic options and some premium ones with unique toppings. The edge was fluffy and crispy, the middle part was thinner, perfect combination!

5. LÁNGOSOM
Lángosom is a cute little place with authentic Hungarian decoration.
For me, the lángos wasn’t that tasty. It was a bit overcooked and oily. langosom.business.site/?
6. LÁNGOS BURGER AT STREET FOOD KARAVÁN
If you want to try a special lángos, visit Lángos burger at Karaván Street food and try out one of their lángos burgers.
At festivals, we tasted the beef lángos burger, and it was so flavourful. So we had to test the other burgers as well.

7. DRUM CAFÉ BUDAPEST, LÁNGOS & GULYÁS BÁR
It’s located in Dob street in the city centre, so it’s a touristy place.
The lángos was meh... The dough was thick and heavy, and it wasn't tasty.

8. LÁNGOS SHOP AT CENTRAL MARKET HALL
Central Market and its lángos shop are famous among tourists and locals. The shop offers many lángos toppings, way too many toppings! The lángos dough was crispy outside, fluffy inside and wasn't oily.
BE CAREFUL! The sellers see the difference between tourists and locals. So they might offer you a more expensive lángos. Make sure to check the prices!
9. LÁNGOSOS (KRUMPLIS LÁNGOS) AT FLÓRIÁN SQUARE
Their name, Krumplis lángos means Potato lángos because the lángos dough contains potato. Luckily it was as delicious as the basic ones.

10. LÁNGOS LAND AT FÉNY STREET MARKET
The kiosk of Lángos Land is located on the 1st floor.
The lángos dough was too thick for me, though it wasn’t oily. L%C3%A1ngos-Land-960444770662703/
10+1. ÁLOMLÁNGOS IN SZENTENDRE
If you’re heading to Szentendre and didn't have a chance to try out lángos in Budapest, make sure to stop by at Álomlángos.
Approach Álomlángos from the main square (Fő tér). Don’t be surprised if there’s a queue on the way that means you’ve found Álomlángos.
The dough was fluffy at the edges, thin at the middle, and the cheese and sour cream proportions were perfect.

As far as I know you can only get to Ursa by foot! No boats
That's also what I know. But if someone has a private boat, everything is possible ;)

These places are soooo beautiful! 💖 Kinda wish I visited them back when I lived there... but hopefully I'll get the chance ib the future 🥰 Saint Stephen's Basilica's inside is very beautiful indeed, though I never knew it had a lookout as well 😊 Thank you for informing me!! 💖
Thank you 🤗🥰 you have a reason to return and rediscover the beauties of Budapest 😉
Great places ! Thanks for sharing Alice <3 !
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :)
In Szentendre ….. I would not call the palacsinta a pancake . When we think if a pancake .. we imagine is a thick round dough that mostly you’d eat with maple syrup. I”d rather call a palacsinta it a “ crêpe “.
Thanks for the correction :)
Hello!! Thank you for the video, very great description 👌🏾. Do you think I can make it with my child? She has 4 years old.
Hmmm good question. I don't know where you are from and if you're used to altitude or not, so I'm a bit afraid your question. You know your child and you might not have to visit every place on the island :D I'll just say, we were suffering a bit with the altitude...
Sacate los lentes gracias .
I'm not sure Goggle Translation is correct... why should I take off my glasses...
