It's a great city. I loved it there. You can walk everywhere. It has everything you ever need within walking distance it's kind of incredible that way. It's like a mini Medellin. It only takes 45 minutes from Medellin flying but it will take 6 hours if you go by bus so definitely not worth a bus trip unless you're really really poor. That said plain flight might be 50 or 60 bucks maybe
Thank you for the insight into the city and yes everything you say is very true about Pereira. The location and resemblance of Medellin is very much felt and I need to go back. Domestic flights are always the way to go in Colombia there's just everything you could ask for of a place/country for real.
Thank you!
It's good to hear the positive words about Colombia! I'd like to visit some day.
There's so much more positivity than negativity that exists in Colombia, I'm glad to hear this and it's true. It's risk vs reward; the rewards far outweigh the risks no doubt. The country is magical and a true life changing experience!
Which country are you from, bro? You look Middle Eastern. I am brown Middle Eastern and live in Germany. Which countries or cities would you recommend me for dating in Latin America? I am also interested in seeing Pereira, that's why TH-cam suggested your video.
I'm from the U.K but I also have Kurdish roots, I've been told I look like I'm from everywhere so you have a decent observation. That's cool and in regards to dating, I would personally recommend Colombia and Brazil to date in Latin America, but each country offers something different. But Colombia is something elsee. Periera is a great city too and highly recommended. Bless up and don't forget to share, like the video and subscribe I would appreciate it!
@@Arancitoo thank you, will see if I can travel to Colombia next year. Kinda tough with dating in the west, especially as a middle eastern or brown guy. I am also short (5’3), but had great success in the Philippines last year.
@@Mo_Sofi You're welcome and yes it will be great if you do! Dating in the west is hopeless and an issue for a lot of people. It's a completely different world outside the west for sure. The Philippines is a great choice and I'm not surprised at all.
Gracias por mostrar nuestra ciudad.
Con mucho gusto! Es una ciudad tan bacano y hay que conocerla.

Thank you! That's crazy how its currently cold there now it's June and yeah likewise man!
Cheers for the video. Pereira is a great city with fantastic people surrounded by amazing landscapes!! I stayed in the same airbnb on the corner opposite the exercise park. I also recognise the Dad and his beautiful finca from photos he showed me.
Thank you for the nice words and with pleasure. I couldn't agree more Pereira is an amazing city that offers a lot, I need to go back soon! It's crazy you were at the same place as well and they are great hosts. The finca is something else, truly a beautiful place and thanks for your comment. Its a small and amazing world we live in!

Thank you for posting some nive views of our Ciudad Bonita. Great footage of the city, but with no context, music, or narration it's a long 14 minutes. I live here, and if you ev er return and would like a tour of the city and/ or surrounding areas, feel free to contact me. We can collaborate to make something together..
Thanks so much for the guidance and I'll be sure to contact you if I ever return to your city.
Great video.
Thank you very much I appreciate it!
I recommend you visit the city of Bucaramanga, capital of the Department of Santander in Colombia. Near Bucaramanga you can visit the second deepest Canyon in the world (El Cañón del Chicamocha), a statue similar to the Christ the Redeemer of Brazil where you can see a beautiful panoramic view of the city (El Ecoparque Cerro del Santísimo), you can visit a coffee farm where one of the best coffees in Colombia is produced at Mesa de los Santos, you can paraglide in Floridablanca or eat typical sweets (Las Obleas), you can visit a Heritage Town (San Juan de Girón), visit its parks, enjoy of its gastronomy, among many other activities.
Many thanks for your recommendations and information of some other places within the department to visit. I appreciate it and will consider these the next time I visit the region. I already visited the city of Bucaramanga and the content of this video is of the Chichamocha Canyon...
Thank you, for sharing this nice video. Back in the 1980's, I traveled between two to three times per month for business and joined as a Life Member the Continental Airlines Lounge. Many year's ago United Airlines took over Continental Airlines so, now I am a Life Member of the United Club. While, I only flight a few times a year now it is still nice to enjoy the benefits of the United Club. Question, do you know how much annual membership is for the American Airlines Lounge?
You're welcome and I appreciate the nice words. Thanks for sharing this information it is very interesting and cool you experienced this often and that you are a member of the United Club. To be honest I actually have no idea as I only inquired and was interested in a daily pass access to the American Airlines Lounge. Apologies for not knowing this.

Gringo stupidity at its best, filming people with no consent based on the false premise "I am coming from the USA" and I can do whatever in the third world, go ahead and start doing the same in a US mall too see what happens. Another day another stupid gringo around
I don't come from the U.S, therefore I'm not a gringo. The term 'third world' is outdated that withholds a negative stigma that is demeaning and disregards developing countries. People filming and posting other people passing by on their phones via social media doesn't require consent so probably wouldn't constitute to this, so it's no different. It's about context too. A modern, secure and pleasant shopping mall with ordinary people isn't exactly disrespectful. It's not good to make assumptions. Another day, another chance to fulfil happiness and make memories in the most welcoming country on earth. 🇨🇴
