Bikes for Kids - 2024

Every year, volunteers along with Bike Alpharetta refurbish donated bicycles & tricycles for North Fulton Community Charities Toyland. More than 4,700 bikes/trikes have been made Santa Ready in 17 years! This year, Domestique Day was again held at the Milton Community Center and was the 18th year. Thank you all volunteers and and everyone involved for making this years event a success!

Each year my family goes out to Warbington Farms for a fun Fall activities. The past 2 years I had snuck away from the family and took a couple of drone pictures. My wife and I went on vacation to St. Augustine and stayed at St. Augustine Beach. On our last day staying at the Guy Harvey Resort, there were surfers right outside the resort. So, couldn't pass up a perfect opportunity to get my drone out.

Tom Duncan was struck and killed by a distracted driver while serving as a ride leader for the Atlanta WBL on 12/16/2023. The Atlanta area cycling community came together for a Memorial Ride and Ghost Bike placement on 12/30/2023. All For One 100 - 2023

The 5th annual ALL FOR ONE 100 charity bicycle ride organized by the Van Purser Foundation (VPF) took place on 10/7/2023. Being the 5th anniversary, they had a special options for to ride the 100 in under 5 hours with dedicated SAG vehicles. Hence the "5 for 5" you see in the video. Lake Wabaunsee

Lake Wabaunsee is a man-made lake in Alma, Kansas. My friends and I stay here while racing Unbound Gravel in Emporia, KS. It's about a 45 minute drive to Emporia, but, well worth the drive as the countryside is beautiful. I brought my drone this time and had to get a video of this lake. Filmed on a DJI Air 2s. Enjoy!

It was supposed to be on 10/1/2022, but Hurricane Ian caused it to be rescheduled. I volunteered to take drone photos and videos of the event. Nice video! I grew up on a small farm not to far from this lake. We used to go swimming here every summer until our town built a community swimming pool. I moved away over 30 years ago and I still have great memories of this lake. Families used to drive into the spillway with their cars and everyone would get out with sponges and rags to wash the car in the spillway water. I once participated in a fund raiser where we got money for the number of times we rode our bikes around the lake. I was riding my Mom's Sears 3-speed. I can't remember how many laps I completed but I do remember the fun.

Just a building near North Point Community Church. It has a cool lake and was trying to film there originally, but, no trespassing signs everywhere.
