I Almost Killed a Schoolgirl
มุมมอง 11K8 ปีที่แล้ว
Driving to work last week, I almost collided with a girl on her way to School. Walking in an area she's not meant to be, instead of the walkways and underpasses. Thankfully I reacted quickly as it all happened in 2 seconds. This shows how easily accidents happen. Thankfully I have a dashcam also.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Screen Failure
มุมมอง 20K8 ปีที่แล้ว
MY Samsung S7 Edge which was pre-ordered from Samsung has been working flawlesly over the past couple of months, until Wednesday this week. I had taken a video on it and an hour later it apeared to begin with, a black screen, as if it was dead. This then developed into what you see in the video. The online help was okay but nothing special. They confirmed I could take it into the Glasgow servic...

This is my VR to Mamemeister's 5 random questions. I've not edited, titled or utilised a game vid so I'm afraid you have to look at my ugly mush ! Alan's (Impact 2009/Mamemeister) original video is here: th-cam.com/video/pAWa1QVynHI/w-d-xo.html I could have ranted for a lot longer but I think suffering over 20mins is enough. มุมมอง 12K8 ปีที่แล้ว
Unboxing my Samsung S7 Edge and Gear VR. Just arrived today. :-) Having now got it up and running, works like a dream. The VR is great, having messed about with it a bit. 2 Day update: Well having had a chance to use this. I must say, the phone firstly is fantastic. The quick charge is SUPER quick, especially considering that my HTC 1 took hours to fully charge (Then again, its an old phone now...

Traveling back from the Vets in Auchenheath to Blackwood, wet snow, getting hard packed before to long. Vehicles getting stuck. I'd have normally stopped to help but we were bringing Our dog back from having had an operation.

Do you think they ask went home that night and watched the fly?
Great video brings back a lot of memories. I grew up in Hamilton and went to school in Hamilton in the 80’s/ 90’s. I know a lot of these areas in the video well,
Aah "Blazers": a pound a beer Friday (8 to 9) ...Motorhead playing so loud it shoogled yir pint..The berries 🤘
You missed the crown bar Almada street 🤦♂️
Is it worth just taking the games to Cex as i have around 50 odd now ,
Depends what they are but yes at least you'll get something for them
Was this the Old Mill in Motherwell?
No, its the one in Pitlochry.
Oh how I wish you’d turned the camera right on Downie Street to see Low Waters Primary as I believe this was the year it closed.
Curious. Can tripods still be mounted with this type of adapter?
Yes, I had mine mounted on a tripod
Eerie music
Alexander Y type @12:31, anyone know where I can get one now?🙏
Thanks for the video and review, no overheating problems ?
No, it still auto cuts off, so no overheating issues.
@@TheEntertainmentKing thanks
that rubber notch is for the cable to run out of. Pull it out. DON"T CUT your battery cover.
brilliant. I passed my test 2 weeks after this was filmed, so was soon on these roads. Its great to see this. I went to Park Lane in the 80's, i'm sure at this time it was called Virgoes. That was our Friday night after the Courtyard haunt. Saturday night was The Roccoco Club until Hamilton Palace opened, then it was Baby jane's. Thanks for this.
Did you venture across the Clyde for Zanzibar’s or jack Daniels
@@craigm9034 Had a couple of great nights in Zanzibars mate.
Charlie browns down the bottom cross took my first Acid n sat in there way my m8s trippin out my box haha Hamilton palace just getting built remember that well used tae drink cargos behind it good times man
Very helpful, thanks man. Question, is there a recommended limit to how many hours one can use the camera with the AC adapter?
Thanks. As far as I'm aware you could use it as long as you want but bear in mind for cooling the Camera will switch off after 20 mins if its for video. Photos on the other hand should be indefinate but I'm no expert. Good luck, hope it does what you need.
Hello Sir Jee Plz this is unavailable on amazon plzz guaide me to buy Ac Adopter
Sorry, You'd need to research google etc.
Hi. Thanks for the nice video and explanation. I would like to know this AC adaptor can plaugged and shoot for weeks of more continuous with out any intruption.? I would like buy for Timelapse to shoot for 14 days or more. Please let me know. Thanks.
Hi Manoj. I'm not sure if this would be possible as I have only used the charger for Video mode rather than photos. If the camera doesn't auto switch off, then I would expect that this would work. Good luck.
@@TheEntertainmentKing Thanks for the replay. You can help me clearing one more doubt. That may sort out my doubt. When you shoot the video, did u notice drop in battry ? I mean see any battry drain or always battry is 100 % while shooting for 1 hour or more so. Kindly let me know. Thanks
Can anyone remember the name of the Night club that was on church street hamilton back the late 80's.
Is that the racooco club ? There was also 3ds and park lane
Rococo club was never out it under 18s tho lol
Look a bit closer at battery door, removable rubber piece
Correct.
So how do you put the battery in? The terminals are not marked (+ and -) in the label maker.
It's a special battery specific to the printer and can only go in one way. BTW. replacement batteries are expensive. Hope this helps
Hello! Thanks for your video. Isn't that screwing up the camera?
No problem at all with it. Still working
Great finds!
i loved going on this journey with this film.. thank you. Strathclyde park looked so new with young trees and seeing old fairground on site before they moved helped to confirm what I have said to people who didn't believe me
Thanks for the comment Liz. Pleased to hear you enjoyed it.
MFC SS ALWAYS BOOT THE SHIT OUT OF ACCIES PATHETIC CASUAL FORCE
How do I put the battery? Can you show it? Thank you
I no longer have this printer. However, the battery is well hidden, open the tape compartment and look to the left hand side. There is a cover over the battery that is held in place by a push lever, push it to open. Good luck :-)
While the AC adapter is connected , can we record video ?
Yes, you can but it's still limited to the overheat protection cut off. 20 mins I think.
@@TheEntertainmentKing thanks
Still got it, three and a half years later?
I do indeed
Dont know if your still here or not but how has this product held up? Im looking for a constant power for my nikon d3400
Yup. Still here. Still using it and would recommend.
Lived in the Furlongs in 1990 - - - feel old now.
great vid some nice old cars triumph acclaims and the going through Hamilton...Hamilton palace nightclub being built"whoops there goes the neighbourhood "
I thoroughly enjoyed that, thanks for posting it. You don't realise how much these areas have changed over the years. P.S. the music is perfect. a big thanks.
good job, she was entirely at fault
What would have happened if you hadn’t reacted quickly enough?
Was motherwell a shit hole back then as well?
Same shit on my phone...very dissapointing for a 600 eu phone
You wouldn't be having sale would ya
Darren Taylor Not at this point in time. Maybe on next upgrade.
I think I had mutual friends with the people in the front. They're driving about the usual haunts.... Beaches car park and Hamilton bus station/taxi rank. Although I can't remember what I had for dinner last night, I seem to remember hanging out at night in Hamilton with friends and they would be there too. How do I think it was them? It was unusual for someone to hang out there in that type of car, but I could be wrong.
were you a ford mechanic ?
LA SOLUCION DE ESE ERROR ES QUE EL S7 EDGE SE CALIENTA LA PLACA, SE TIENE QUE MANDAR A UN TALLER Y QUE LE PONGAN UNA PASTILLA AL CHIP PARA QUE AGUANTE LO CALIENTE DEL EQUIPO... POR EJEMPLO: APAGALO POR COMPLETO Y METELO 10 MIN AL CONGELADOR Y DESPUES LO SACAS Y DEJAS UNOS 3 MIN Y DESPUES LO PRENDES!!! VA A FUNCIONAR BIEN!!! PONGAN UN LIKE SI LES FUNCIONO! GRACIAS
Exact same problem with mine. Sent it to Samsung and they told me they "Upgraded Software and cleared corruptions".... I bloody hope it comes back fixed.
Famine2k . good luck. hope it comes back sorted.
Ok Update: Got it back today. They replaced the Display and the battery in addition to a firmware upgrade. I noticed it got very very hot prior to the failure (and I was just surfing Facebook). I'm wondering if a faulty battery cooked the display?
I've had my S7 Edge for just under 2 months and I am getting the same problem. Bought the phone in the UK but now in Nigeria.
Seems now to be a very common fault. Good luck getting it sorted.
Is is still OK?
Yes, it is still working OK. Though I did get a phone for my work S7 Edge and it developed the EXACT same fault shortly after getting it. That was brand new too. Seem to be a lot more reports of it now
It's amazing this was 27 years ago and up until last year the raith had remained the same
Did they say what happened or how to fix it? Mine just started doing this today!
They had to replace the screen Alex. must say however that the repair was first class and I'm really fussy. I'd you have a service centre near to you, you'll have it back in a few hours.
....and no they didn't say what the cause was.
+Craig Ferguson (The Entertainment King) OK, thanks for the reply.
+Alex Flemingcheer101 No worries. Good luck getting it sorted. One thing I meant to say is that your content will remain intact.
Hey guys I have the same issue, can you help me I need to fix it. :( please recommend me something in order to get it better thank you.
+Craig Ferguson To keep it short, was not your fault because she should not have been there in the first place. But good job in avoiding her! Happy to know that no one got hurt. Hope she's more careful in the future!
+Richard Burton I never said that people were not allowed there, but anyone with half a brain will know that that's not a safe place to cross a road, specially in a curve and where's no crosswalks and pedestrians are not expected to be walking at all! But if you want to go deep on the subject, whenever there is a specific path available for pedestrians to walk and they choose to ignore it and make their own path, ignoring the danger, they are pretty much on their own. In this case that's what she did and almost costed her life! If something was to happen to her the driver would never be hold responsible. He did a pretty good job in avoiding her and she should be very thankful for that!
Cliff, Richard has been removed the channel for previous comments. Some don't use common sense.
Idiots with too much time on their hands will never be tolerated. Magic of the ban button ;-)
Hi Craig, is it possible for you to send me the raw footage of this clip? I want to highlight the fact the outcome could have been so different had you not been driving slowly round the bend, plus your quick reactions saved the girls life! info@scotlandsworstdrivers.com - Thank you
Happy for you to link to this video. Craig
+Craig Ferguson (The Entertainment King) Thanks Craig, have shared on Facebook.com/ScotWorstDrivers and tweeted @ScoWorstDrivers
Quick update on this, I had to have it repaired at the service centre as the screen failed. Must say that the service in the service centre was first class, pleased to have it back. STILL a great phone. Hopefully no other issues.
Did you purchased the phone or samsung gave you as a review unit for free ? @craig
Purchased myself Niket.
@@TheEntertainmentKing hey bro how much price
@@SoulfulStanza147 Not sure now, it was a while ago and I got it free with my phone. Probably £100 at the time
I would NOT suggest cutting a piece off the battery door. The camera body has a little known feature specifically for the purpose of using with a power adapter. A small rubber piece can be opened to reveal a channel for the cord/lead.
Read your reply and firstly though, yeah sure! (sorry) Then looked at the camera and you are indeed correct, there is a small rubber section right beside the door, which I've tried with the adaptor and it fits perfectly. Little known right enough, thanks for the top tip !
+Craig Ferguson (The Entertainment King) no worries. It is not a very popular feature and very few know of it.
Thanks man, very helpful comment <3
