How to make a DIY power supply

If you work with electronics then you would probably know that power supplies are the most important part of this job.
In this video i have shown you that how you can make your very own, yet very cheap power supply with minimum components.
All you need is:-
1.Transformer
2.Bridge Rectifier
3.1000uf capacitor
4. 2k ohm resistor
5. LED
6. Cooling Fan
7. And Some Cardboard Pieces

@@rediRwoL98 i have a 12v fan, i needed to power it too. went to a phone store, found an old charger which had 11v for a cheap price, got it and now i use that charger to supply power to the fan. you can do this and better if you find 12v or even 13v charger to get more power to your fan

Without BMS this is not a good idea to switch the batteries in series.
What about a simoultaneous 12v and 5v output? :)

welp I got got it all put together but only one fan spins, the other ones LEDs light up tho XD might just be a bad motor but I'm gonna try putting them on different power supplies.
Very good :) You can try replacing the bad fan. Or may be you are using 2 fans with different power input check for that too
I thought about doing something like this but was concerned that the faster speed of the muffin fan would cause the slower internal fans in my laptop to go bad. Am I overthinking this?
+olepainless9999 this idea is better for those laptops which don't have an internal fan like the one shown in this video but you can do it with any kind of laptop to improve the over all cooling.
