Tommy Bolin as a producer - one of his superpowers. I’ll Be Right Here. Written by Tommy and lyrics by John Tesar. According to David Givens, this was the very first song where Tommy served as the actual producer of the track. When Zephyr started Going Back To Colorado it was off of Jimmy Page being so blown away with the band and Tommy that he encouraged David Givens, off of the three nights Z...

Can anybody give this an approximate date?
I had some good times with them in Boulder 1970-73. They’d play at Tulagi or the park (free), etc. Tommy was a sweet humble guy. R.I.P. Candy and Tommy. 💙💙
I was at his last show at Miami jai alai as he opened for Jeff Beck, tragic
Thx.
Wrong video title. Here is "Teaser", please correct.
It's very nice pra xuxu
Земля ему пухом !!!!
Tommy brought his magic to a fading band: yes the tour was up and down, but that was due to drug use not a lack of ability on Tommys part. I heard the tape of the Liverpool gig and he was fine, it was Glenn who was in trouble. A sad loss to music, but never forget he was more of a loss to his family: dead at 25.
I seen Mr.Bolin perform with the deep at boutwell in Alabama in 1975 I was 13 Mr Boland always will play the guitar very special
Bolin's death was the greatest waste/tragedy in the history of popular music.
Sad...this band had lost it all to drugs
Put that girl in front of a decent band and take that P90 LP of that bloke... it's wasted on him. Zephyr didn't hit the big time because they weren't any good (".)
Do you think that’s a L90-LP? And that “bloke” is Tommy Bolin! 🙄
That's when Purple turned funky...not everbody liked it. Perhaps they should have changed the Name of the Band...cool stuff anyway
Holy Moley this is amazing all around
Deep Purple "Phoenix Rising" is a wonderful documentary - Sadly, Jakarta was a low point
Hate to say it,but earth makes me hate earth.....
Wow!!! I had no idea that Tommy Bolin was ever a part of The James Gang, and I thought I knew everything about The James Gang??? Because I am very familiar with The James Gang with Joe Walsh being there, but I just must have missed some of my music lessons with this killer band from the past!!! Ernie Wilber 🤘👹🤘✌️
the guitar part was added later
Something you rarely see, a woman playing harp ... but jazz harp😮. That's wicked.
It sounds more like a Tommy Bolin band doing a few Deep Purple covers rather than Deep Purple covering a few Bolin tunes.
Why is this uploaded all the way up to 4K?? The video source was clearly only good for 240p. Waste of bandwidth.
Only you care
Un grand groupe
Strat body with a Tele neck, doesn't appear to be the original finish, does anybody know where this treasure ended up? Joe B. got the Les Paul but never heard where this beauty went.
I SEEN TOMMY WHEN HE PLAYED WITH DEEP PURPLE
Tommy Bolin THE ULTIMATE
This dude could shred something fierce
So cool being a kid ...1974 ...Beaumont Texas
Rooting for Tommy bolin
Some of it sound pretty jazzy.
Tommy had the looks, the chops, distinct voice, songwriting power...Nice fellah...Helped a lotta people...Just couldn't help himself...A part of him in everyone..Saw him with Mk4 and the last show in Miami...never will forget him
👏🏻🙌🏻👏🏻

Great version!!!
9/21/76 should be the correct date
Don’t take drugs.., how often does it need to be said…
RIP Candy (who I had the pleasure of meeting back in the day) and Tommy.
Great video, but It’s FUCKING UNCANNY how the damn cameraman pans to the drummer on BOTH guitar solos. When the guitar solo is happening, fucking focus on the guitar player FFS
Tommy Bolin was a Genius, Way ahead of his time. He was from Sioux City Iowa, I'm also from Sioux City Iowa, five years younger than Tommy, when I was Fourteen I saw him with ZEPHYR,it blew me away. I became good friends with his brothers, Ricky "Pudge"and Johnny , who have both since passed. I followed Tommy's career until the tragic end ,on December Fourth 1976, which happens to be my Birthday!
luckily he realized he was 10 times a better singer than her
Roy Kennedy is the MAN
…But why you used a photo of second-stooge Larry Fine for the thumbnail photo baffles me…🤔
Amazing transition from str8 ahead bang’n rock to Jazz riffs, then back to basics. An incredibly underrated rock band out of Boulder. Those were the days 😢
Tommy's girlfriend is such a sweetheart. Beautiful and intelligent. He had a great partner. Wonderful woman. 🎉
I read long ago that when Tommy was finally in the studio to record Spectrum, he told Billy Cobham I don't read music. Billy said, "That's not a problem, just play." And he did.(!) 🕉
I was lucky enough to see Tommy at Winterland. Private Eyes had come out. That was so great. He may have opened for Robin Trower if I recall. A special experience ✨️
Any one knows how the tape echo works? I mean you activate the delay by hand but when tommy plays, he doesnt even touch the echo and it works in certain notes he plays so what the hell?😂
Who is the bass player?
