    Good video. I agreed everything except I never used heaters. If have old house or very cold weather and windows or walls are not best, then heaters can be necessary. 1980's we did not had good windows in house, then we heated with wood, wood-burning stove. We had electricity radiators, those was too hot cold weather, had to put less hot and use wood-burning stove too. I live South Finland. North can be COLD.

    I noticed the annoyed glances two of the women gave you in the crowd. I live in Canada, and I'm considering visiting Finland to move there but my fear is that black people are not admitting that Finnish people might be racist. I wish there was an honest video about this, so I can avoid making a bad decision.

    • @alicehautanen7317
      @alicehautanen7317 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi. There is racism also here in Finland. I think the reason why it’s not so much talked about it’s because not so many get to experience it face to face(maybe the fact that Finnish people are not so loud and tend to keep the comments to themselves or their circle). Many foreigners i know complain alot about the workforce. They experience racism there even without being told just based on their colour or name. It’s hard to get a very good job position even if you speak Finnish as a foreigner. I don’t know how it is in Canada but i guess the cultural shock won’t be very different.

    Actually warning someone coming behind and seemingly looking for an opportunity to pass is not unheard at all in Finland either. Especially long commercial vehicle drivers do that, if the driver is good. They pay attention to traffic from both directions and know where there are more safe places. Of course it happens only on roads where the lanes for different directions are not separates and overtaking is done by driving on the lane for incoming traffic. They also sit higher than people driving cars, so their field of vision helps them to observe traffic situations better.

    • @SamiNami
      @SamiNami 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wake up, traffic is completely different in Africa.

    • @just42tube
      @just42tube 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SamiNami Different from what ? Mostly the motored vehicles as highly similar to other pars of the world. Traffic rules have similarities. The purpose of traffic is similar. African traffic is also not the same at all throughout African. There are significant l differences from country to country and from place to place. That is not totally unlike other parts of the world. Traffic within Europe is also different from country to country, though there has been significant harmonisation over the last century or so. But traffic codes are still somewhat different from country to country and there are some diffidence even more locally. Different places have their own different challenges and solutions for funding, pollution, traffic jams etc.

      @SamiNami 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@just42tube Ok I have driven in 20 african countries and in Finland. It's completely different everywhere in Africa. Maybe South Africa reminds me most of Finland.

    • @just42tube
      @just42tube 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SamiNami Completely needs some detailed justification. Are you saying there are no combustion engines, no trucks, no automobiles, no roads with lanes for traffic to different directions, traffic legislation without any similarity... All above and more would be required for the traffic to be completely different.

    Interesting points. Sharing my own experience: - In Spain, nobody takes off the shoes either. The way people in Spain put it is that you clean the floor often and you wear sleepers, so there is no problem with hygiene. Having myself family back in China, I think one of the reasons some people ask people to not wear shoes inside of the home is because they don't want to clean the floor so often. - Splitting the bill. What I've seen is that this is entirely dependent on the economic status of the country. In developed countries, individual incomes tend to be lower compared to prices, the trade off is that social services cover most expenses. But in underdeveloped countries you have less social services, pay less taxes and as a result, it's normal to have more disposable income, cash and you can pay for other people. This happens in every underdeveloped country that I've been, i.e. China, Ukraine, Russia, and of course the opposite for Western countries, most of EU, America. Nice video, but I'd suggest maybe adding some clips so people can imagine the situation and some landscapes of such situations in Zambia, it's how most other TH-camrs with hundreds of thousands of views do it. Keep it up!

      In some countries it has been also sign of respect to the home and to the host to take off all outerwear when coming indoors to a home. It has been considered bad manners to wear a hat or other outerwear indoors. There has been practical reasons also especially in older times. Finnish climate and weather is significantly different from southern Europe. This means many practical difference. In my grandmothers home the expectation for floors was that a child could crawl on the floor in white clothes without getting dirty. At my mother's time the expectations where somewhat relaxed. And in my own home still much more. But a visitor walking in without taking off shoes wound find himself swiftly outside again.

    Remember, finnish men do not often make the first move, is often the women. Due what I see it the finnish society is a matriarchal soceity. We remove the word he/she, we just calling our self as "Hän" or "Hännen". Finland was the first country to supported the women's rights to vote and the list goes on and on.
