Btop++ is an awsome alternative to Htop.
In this video I will show why Btop is better and why I am personally replacing Htop with Btop++.
Btop is better because its more customizable, more information shown and is more user friendly.
Let me know what you think of Btop and Htop in the comments below.
Have a good week to my fans. :)

i like it very much, thank you for the video

I’ll recommend this to all of my friends as a better alternative to nano
Thank you so much. 😀
Start a campaign to ban facebook.
Thanks for this helpful and interesting video.
No problem buddy. I am glad I was able to help you. 😀👍
What Icon theme is your favourite?
TL;DR getting rid of fact checkers didn't make Mark Suckerberg a based and redpilled freedom of speech guy
I doubt he cares about free speech tbh.
They can't steal your information on Linux. You can't even get a virus unless you intentionally install it. I have been using Linux for years and have never had a virus or security issue. Linux won't allow outside access without you putting in your password. So scammers can't back door install any scam ware. And the majority of programs scammers use are windows based .exe programs which Linus can't run. Sure theoretically you can run them with wine but it either never works, or is buggy to the point of being unusable. So it isn't because Linux is a threat to security. The problem is that it is too secure for Facebook to steal your meta data. These tech people use fear mongering lies to get you to upgrade or buy additional software all the time. Windows will flat out lie to you. I tried to install a legal copy of windows xp on an old system that was never going to be connected to the Internet. It refused to install. The error message was that "installing this software could harm your system." Except it was a new hard drive that never had an OS installed on it before. There was nothing there to hurt. If the message had said that the older version of windows was no longer supported, that would at least be honest. Instead they give you a fear mongering message about it harming your system to attempt to scare you into installing the newest version of windows.
I agree but that is why I moved to bluesky and Mastodon. They are much better and respect your privacy more. :)
@JonathanSteadman2003 I don't use any social media and never have. Commenting on YT videos is the closest I get to that stuff. There's enough stupid on YT to keep me busy enough. I don't need to add to my workload of calling out all the stupidity that I see.
Not just banning Linux topics, I merely tried to apply for an account with Facebook and was immediately banned citing community guidelines, infact I tried three times, and now I understand why! Just because I use a Linux operating system THEY think I'm malware??? WHAT!! I'm not even going there to discuss Linux, I just wanted to follow a singer's fan club. If there is anyone out there who can help me with this It would be much appreciated but for now I am banned.
Could you try to contact the Facebook team?
@@JonathanSteadman2003 They have refused my efforts to contact them, there is no customer service line
I made an account so I could buy cheap shit and they won't let me use it unless I send them a video selfie. I use Windows 7 and don't have any cameras connected to my computer. Totalitarian.
@@GoatWorship666 why do they need to send a camera video selfie? What? Anyway why don't you use eBay? It's better I think.
@JonathanSteadman2003 Ebay doesn't have stuff for as cheap as the marketplace. Also nobody local sells shit on ebay.
This is great news! Because Linux users have been blocking Facebook forever too LMAO
youtube is doing the same kinda bs, you can't mention a lotta things in comments but they don't even notify you, feels very sneaky. it silences so much. not just political talk.
Yeah I agree. I did block some swear words on my channel to avoid people getting very very sad. But I will review then and check if it's okay. I do believe in freedom of speech but only if it's not being a bully. Like chatting about Linux and stuff. So TH-cam tends to be restrictive on what you can or can't say here.
What can i say - good riddance. Of facebook, that is...
Certified autist
So like is it easy to change the background to upload your own photo in hiaku os
Yes it's pretty easy. :)
Facebook did not censor Linux, they Censored DistroWatch. Please get your facts straight.
I merely tried to apply for an account with Facebook from my Linux OS and was immediately banned citing community guidelines without any prior access to Facebook, explain that?
@@robertbiron I remember once trying to make a Facebook account (for business purposes) and getting my account locked because I did not give my drivers license to Facebook... maybe it was that, that got you banned?
@@le9038 They did not ask for my drivers license
Using Linux since you were 16 says nothing if you don't also tell your current age.
I am 21 years old. Sorry about this...
Was wondering the same! I'm 55 been using Linux since 2007 when my XP crapped out, Bill wasn't getting anymore of my money. In all those years not one ad, not one virus, and no adware or anti-virus's used either.
Thanks for the video. Agree 101% on all points! Can you tell me which distro are you using these days on your 'personal' PC? I mean just for the average day to day, not anything beefed up for a specific function. I've been using Mint for about a year. Seems to do the job & very easy to customize. Any other distro that you'd suggest I explore?
I am currently using fedora Linux. I could recommend elementary os, manjaro - arch based and zorin os. If you wanna be more advanced but better customisation then I recommend having arch Linux. There are many Linux distribution that you could try in a virtual machines. Also pop os is getting popular. :)
@@JonathanSteadman2003 I've heard that Arch is a pain in the ass to install, mind you I haven't tried. But it sounds like the top choice for geeks. Do you have any experience with Kali? I tried running in a VM but it was really sluggish.
@@dohboi6987 Have you tried archinstall script? It makes installing Arch linux easy that even a five years old can do it. Kail Linux is good if you are into cyber security and hacking but for a normal user, you will just get bloatware that is for cyber security. You could try Fedora Linux but Kail Linux is not that bad. Pretty stable as I had no issues with it.
@@JonathanSteadman2003 thanks I'll look for the script kiddy version of Arch.
You just type archinstall in arch Linux.
hummm another good reason to use linux
Android is Linux What kind of galaxy brain came up with this idea?
Linux is just a kernel. The root partition cannot be accessed, the UI isn't based on xorg/xwayland and the apps are sandboxed on user space and use a different type of packages for apps.
@@ogdan1173 Of course it's just a kernel. That's why banning it is so stupid. Android is still by definition *NIX, and proves the point of what a brainlet decision it is to ban it.
Linux is a threat to mass surveillance, that is why its banned
What?
"freedom of speech" my ass
Yeah, what's with all this 'fact checking'...?
