What I've Built and SOLD This Year! | Season 1 Recap
Join us for this end of the year recap! This is a compilation of the furniture and projects we have worked on and built this year. All of the projects and furniture shown in this video have been built multiple times this year, especially the picnic tables, wishing wells and benches. There was a lot of footage to go through so I only added what I thought was best of each video for this compilation. If you want a longer version video for each project I will leave the link below.
Thanks for watching and thank you subscribers!

Full Size Log Bed Build | No Tenon Cuts!
มุมมอง 1.3Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Join us as we build a full size rustic log bed using cedar poles without mortise and tenon joints like your typical log beds. This bed build doesn't require any fancy tools and only took us around 3-4 hours to put together including cutting and sanding. Lots of drilling! All spade bit holes were plugged using a dowel. If you plan on taking the bed apart like we do for easy assembly, do NOT plug...
This Simple Log Bench SELLS!
มุมมอง 6K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
Join us as we build a simple faux half log style bench using six 2x6s cut from three pieces of 2x6x12 lumber. Each 2x6 for this build is cut at six feet (72"). Four of the six boards have a straight edge rip on both sides while the two others have a straight edge rip on one side and a 30° rip on the other. We ended up screwing the first 4 boards together with wood glue and used only glue on the...
Rustic Bunk Bed Build | FULL Size!
มุมมอง 7032 หลายเดือนก่อน
Join us as we build a rustic cedar pole bunk bed using simple tools. We ended up changing the top railing mid way through the video to give more room for the mattress. This is a style we haven't done before (with the logs on the outside of the railing) but it turned out pretty good, at least I think so. Thanks for watching! The SMALLEST Picnic Table I've built this year! | SOLD
มุมมอง 7075 หลายเดือนก่อน
Join me as I build ANOTHER picnic table. This is the smallest picnic table I have built this year coming in at 6 foot long. 6 foot tables are pretty average, however I don't make very many of them. Does size matter? Most of the picnic tables I build are 8 feet in length but I do make them smaller when requested. 8 foot tables are more popular than 6 foot ones in my area. I built a SUPER small 5...
Making PROFIT Fixing Old Furniture | 90 Minute Bench Restoration
มุมมอง 4696 หลายเดือนก่อน
Join me as I restore an old broken bench back to life using simple rip cuts from 2x6 boards. This is another easy woodworking project that does not require expensive tools or a lot of time. These smaller projects can also be great practice if you're looking to get into woodworking as a hobby or a profession. This was not meant to be a how-to style video, but just to show you the steps I took to...
Wood Torched Rustic American Flag | EASY Woodworking Project
มุมมอง 1.4K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
Another easy woodworking project that doesn't require any advanced tools. You can use a router tool for carving out the stars but I just used spray paint. It's a big time saver and still looks really nice after putting a finish on. These can take a little more time to make then some of our other projects on the channel because of the torching and staining of the wood but is definitely worth it!...
These Simple Wishing Wells SELL!
มุมมอง 43K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
Easy woodworking project using treated 2x4s, treated fence boards, a dowel, rope, and a bucket! The "2x2" box frame in the beginning of the video can be made by ripping 2x4's. These can be used as a planter or any other kind of lawn decoration, although it is mostly used for covering wellheads. These two are smaller versions of the wishing wells that are made. The video linked in the ending wil...
Hand Peeled Rustic QUEEN Size Log Bed
มุมมอง 2.2K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
Building a rustic queen-size log bed out of hand-peeled, cedar logs WITHOUT tenon cuts. This rustic log bed is put together with lag bolts, instead of the typical mortise and tenon joints used in other rustic log beds. A different appearance but just as strong. Not Your Typical Picnic Table
มุมมอง 3568 หลายเดือนก่อน
Building ANOTHER picnic table using cedar logs. While not as popular as metal or two-by-frame picnic tables, these tables can support as least twice as much weight. The weight of the frame alone, along with the angles of its legs, makes it nearly impossible to tip over, even when several people are seated on one side. Cedar is an extremely rot-resistant wood. Thanks for watching. -rusticwoodsho...

Nice work!! Are all the lag bolts the same size? I think you are using 3/8" x 4 1/2" lag bolts, is this correct?
You got it! All the same too. Thanks, Robert!
Very cool!
Appreciate it! Thanks for the comment.
Good work guys
Thank you!
That's awesome!
Thank you!
Looks like a winner! TY😉
Thank you!
The ones I used to make were a whole lot fancier
Encore une vidéo au top bravo À bientôt
Thank you! 👍

Vraiment top
Thank you!

Superbe vidéo
Great looking rustic bed frame. And who needs a blower to clean the bench top ? Enjoyed this build of y'alls.
Haha, that's right! Thanks for watching and the support 👍
Great video! Can you show how you made the legs?
Thank you! Just a straight edge jig screwed into the side of the workbench. The size and cut angles should be in the video. Thanks for the comment!
Do you have the measurement plans for this build ?
A full bed size is 54" x 75" and if I remember correctly we added an extra inch of room on both sides so the mattresses would fit snug. From the floor to the bottom of the top bunk was around 6 feet tall. As far as the railings and any other measurements I don't have plans as this was a custom order for somebody with plans of their own. Thanks for the comment!
Did u use a mix of raw and pressure treated lumber?
Yes. Everything except the handle, dowel, and 2x2 framing was treated. Thanks for the question and comment!
Really nice build of the bench. Enjoy your no nonsense style of making these videos. Thanks for sharing !!
@@Lutzboater Thanks for the nice comments and support!
happened to me yesterday with a phillips bit while screwing in a screw screw bit into the wood got stuck phillips head jump and went right into my nail i'm lucky i switched from my sharp point phillips head to a flat head one otherwise i would have gone straight through my thumb
@@carlito19934 Yikes! That sounds like it could have been a lot worse. I know the feeling, I get myself good a couple times a year 😆
Nice build. Do you have any pdf plans with dimensions and cut list?
@@BrandonCabanillas Thank you! I don't have any plans for this build, unfortunately.
Darn good looking bunk beds. Some youngsters are going to really love these
I appreciate it, thank you!
How much did they sell for?
@@arlingtontrains7 The ones in this video sold for $120 each.
Sit your dowels in a V channel stops them running around !
Nice design. When attaching with lag bolts, do you pilot drill 50% of bolt diameter the receiving timber to give space for the bolt or is bolt forcing itself blind into receiving timber?
@@JohnColgan. Thank you! I'm forcing the bolts through with an impact. I'll usually hammer the bolts in a quarter inch so the logs won't move around on me then impact it down.
Have plans? Great video…
Wheels and a winch and you’ve got a gantry crane!
I like the way you think!
Just subscribed. Very nice project.
@@darrellburton3949 Thank you 👍
Could you tell us the measurements for the top part I started the build but want it to look right thank you
I've had similar looking wells on marketplace and offerup and sold one in 3 months...I even lowered the price...same for planters, benches ect..
@@thedbcooperforum How much were you listing the wishing wells for? Location and competition are important factors.
@@rusticwoodshop fort lauderdale...mine is a round 4 feet tall and similar ones are going for $150 and I marked mine at $85..
@@thedbcooperforum Thanks for the reply. $85 is on the cheaper side and sounds like a great deal! Our smaller ones are $120 and our bigger ones are $20 more. I've sold 15-20 the last two months but a lot of people in my area have well water so they use them to cover up a well head, that may be a reason.
❤ this! What a fab rustic project. Thanks for the idea and demo.
Thanks for the comment!
Love it, how large is it
Thank you! 19" x 36"
Is it possible to give the measurements of the wishing well ,thanks
good Job Thanks
👍👍👍. Thank you
I would probably use different screws or nails, the sheet rock screws look ugly.
He built that as a demo to get some inspiration to someone. When you make one use whatever you want , maybe glue it as well He did a great job . Very simple and quick
Siri do you use pallet wood on this? It sure looks like it cute build. Wish you had directions.
I already thought you was going to teach us slowly how to make one. I am disabled and try to learn from some of the best people videos. Measurements would have helped me build one
Hey there! This wasn't meant to be a how to or step by step kind of video but more of a "watch and learn" to show you that you don't need any fancy tools, joints, or cuts to build these. Measurements here are irrelevant, you can make them any size you want to! It's more about the simple design and layout more than anything. If you want specific measurements for the box frame in the beginning feel free to send me an email, it's in the description. Thanks for the comment. 🙂
Very nice looking flag. I like the style of your videos. No unnecessary chatter during the build. Keep it up !!
Thank you for the comment and kind feedback!
What do they usually sale for in your area? I know all areas are different but just curious as to the range since I'm considering building some myself
well done and well made
Thank you, I appreciate it!
I wish I had some help when I built mine.
Big time saver! Thanks for the comment.
Nice handywork!
Thank you!
