Whats the screech of the wheels when changing?
It's popping the clutch on the upshift and downshift. It sounded cool, but was bad for the clutch. These cars had a lot of low-end torque. For the 1979 model year, the was no stock American car that was faster or could handle better than a WS-6 T/A 6.6 four speed Transam.

The slalom explanation reminded me of the one time my (ex-)brother-in-law went to an autocross. After the surprise of his car not passing tech with missing lug nuts, and the rush of trying to find new ones in time, he walked the course and thought he was smart... He came up to me and said, like it was some kind of revelation "The slalom is optional". I told him "The *direction* is optional. You can't opt out of the slalom." And his ego deflated all over again. 😆

Piazzolas has reached down into the soul with this music....it is so subtle..and reminiscent of Beethoven or Mozart or Puccini in their finest melodic moments.
I think that it's Piazzolla's best and he wrote some amazing music.

I've a 1996 993 C2 iris blue metallic, 60,000 miles. Varioram. No CEL. No oil leaks. Six-speed G50 manny tranny. Tip top full concours multi-show winner. (Yes, I do all the work myself, over several days.) I've had people, at a red light, say: "Name your price." 4:55 Yup, 303 is awesome.
