So red is made by mixing pink with blue. To put it simply, Russian red has more blue than pink, and Ruby woo has more pink than blue. This makes Russian red a cool tone and Ruby woo a warm tone. In other words, Ruby woo is brighter. Russian red is darker.

I have the russian red. I do agree it is smooth. It does not feel dry out even when I have it on my lips for many hours. It feels very smooth and pleasing on the lips. Doesn't dry out or have cracks. Very pleased to have bought it even though it is so expensive

Constructive thoughts- the lip colour clashed with your red top so a little distracting and difficult to discern true colour so would’ve been better to wear neutral colour I think 🤍

I haven’t tried Ruby Woo but I have Russian Red and I really like it. When you apply lipsticks sometimes you have to “blot” your lips with a napkin or something. Blotting gently removes the excess layer that transfers onto things. Try the transfer test after blotting then see what happens. With Russian Red, when I blot there is no transfer afterwards. It’s stuck onto my lips!
