Onaqui Wild Horses Utah's West Desert
This is a video about my recent photographic journey into Utah's west desert to photograph the Onaqui Wild Horses. I was able to photograph them three different times. I have included a link to other images I captured as stills, including a fierce fight between two stallions. It also includes images of the five different youngsters I saw over two days.

มุมมอง 1808 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is a video of 45 of the hundred of species that rely upon Great Salt Lake in Utah for survival. I created this video to coincide with the 45 days of Utah's Legislative session of 2024. We need to speak up for those who cannot and make our animals sacred again as we strive to save Great Salt Lake not only for the air we breathe but for the animals.

Such a beautiful experience for you. Love them 🥰
Thank you so much!!!
Cute owls!
Thank you - I just love watching them.
Please learn to talk in your videos. Would be nice to hear things like where Antelope Island is even at, why do these owls burrow in the dirt, is there no trees on the island, are there no predators on the island and thus the owls can just burrow in the dirt?
Thank you for your comment. My intent is to let the owls surroundings be the only sound one hears. Here is a link about the adorable Burrowing owls if you want to learn more. www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Burrowing_Owl/overview There are predators on the island - Coyotes, Great Horned Owls, and the Burrowing owls are great at being on the lookout and hiding in their burrow if any danger is near. They do not live in trees, instead they take over burrows of other animals who have abandoned their burrows - ie Prairie Dogs, badger, squirrels, etc. Antelope Island is in Great Salt Lake which is in Northern Utah.
@@lindadaltonwalker7861 It's great to have just ambient noise! No need to talk :)
@@VideoCrate Thank you!!!
These are so unique
I just love them so much. They are so adorable.
Thanks...
A little island, how is that formed? Thanks for filming these, i would've never seen other wise.
I really don't know how the tiny little island formed, perhaps it is a rock and plants grow on it. You are welcome... I'm glad I can bring them into your life. Love you.
The grunting you hear in the background is a bison that was walking behind my vehicle as I was videoing these adorable birds. Can you hear it?
So beautiful
Thank you so much!!!! They are a blast to watch.
My new favorite, love them , great job
Thank you so much!!!
Bravo to you for finding a creative way to support this important cause. I hope this is shared far and wide and opens many peoples' eyes to the biodiversity that would be lost if this unique ecosystem collapses.
Thank you so very much!!!
Thank you Linda for drawing a bit more attention to value of the Salt Lake. It is home to more than just seagulls and bison. Well done - I hope there is something that can be done to help us all be better stewards of this beautiful world we have been blessed to care for.
Thank you so much!!!
