Fabrication, body and paint, hot rodder since 1 year old. Mopar guy at heart, but love them all. Here to share what I know, and the experiences I've had learning the hard way. Railroader by day and night, and in the shop whenever possible. Family first. Father of 5, and 1 beautiful wife. A couple of the guns have what looks like PPS cup adapters. Do you cut the filters out of the PPS cups regardless of the flake size?
They are PPS adapters. You can rip the filters right out of the lids. I always remove the filter when using any size flake, and even some heavy metallic paints.
Well, ready to paint with weld through primer and then weld 😅

@RustyHondas I know man...its crazy. You would think the factory would treat the metal and or prevent the moisture from gathering.

@RustyHondas I have, many times. It's good stuff when it's not in direct sunlight. Just clean the area really good, abrade it with something harsh, apply 2 coats. Also check this out speedokote.com/trc-15-q-rust-preventive-underbody-gloss-black-paint-quart-rust-bite/

Are you mixing flake with intercoat or 2k clear
@@sll-tt6bj I use an intercoat clear mixed as a carrier.
OK from you I want to see a closeup of this process. Maybe a welding glass taped to a phone. You never see this and you got the short perfect. This shows exactly how to do it after you get the welder right, wire etc. I read about this in my miller book you get but I've never seen even a car show do it.

Had to do something similar on a swing drive on digger. Had to make a 30mm hole for a dowel pin without welding to the gear on the bottom. Ended up just shoving a papertowel down it and filling it partly up with water. After i made the cut i just used some pliers to pull it out, worked like a charm.
Sometimes you gotta improvise to get er done...I feel that

Great build brother, How wide are those rear tires? What all did it take to fit them in there?
Hell ya thanks man! Was a little bit of work tho. 335/35/17. Used a C-body 8-3/4 rear, offset wheel. I cut 2 wheel wells out of another D150 in the boneyard, then widened mine, to retain the factory body stamps in those.
How to fix it
It depends on how deep and how many there are. In some cases, you can buff it out. In other cases, you gotta start all over. It all depends on which coating is the one gasing out. If it's your very first coating, you're screwed

Or just to learn to do it yourself there is hundreds of videos and instruction guides on TH-cam and Google. There’s no excuse for not knowing how to work on a your vehicle in 2024. And I’m fairly sure you can buy that specific Panel Without paint or primer to where you can cut the old out and weld the new in.. And if it’s a joke, it’s not funny because I don’t deal with this issue again because I work on my own vehicles
