There’s a vulnerability in speaking in another language and the fact he is doing it in a public forum is awesome!! The grammar differences between English and Korean is no joke. He’s doing a wonderful job!! ❤

His English has definitely improved A LOT! He speaks English so beautifully and even the times when he was still learning English, I understand him perfectly well like it wasn’t hard for me to not understand him. In fact, he and my mom are a lot alike when it comes to speaking English. Here’s why I mentioned my mother: Before my mom met my dad, she didn’t know any English at all. All she did all her life was speak Spanish. Yes she was born in United States in Long Island, New York, but she only lived there with her mother and her older brother until she was 6 years old when they moved to Spain. So she spent all her life living in Spain and only speaking Spanish there. So by the time she met my dad when he was in the navy in Spain, she was learning English from him little by little. And she was improving her English a little bit. So she started learning a little more English when my older brother was born. And by the time I was born, she spoke more and more English and she definitely improved a lot. It’s still a little hard for her to pronounce some big strong words that she can’t quite pronounce right, but I always help her. Same thing with Hyunjin, the more you learn the language that you want to speak, the more you get better at it! And he has definitely improved so much! And we’re all so proud of him! 🥲 I love him so so much!🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
