Okay, story time... When I was in second grade, there was this girl who was new to the class. Over the course of a year or so, we became best buddies❤. We used to share lunch, go on a walk around the corridor, and always sit together. I was a shy kid back then and she was one of my only three friends, and we studied together for 4 or 5 years, but then my family decided to move to our hometown with my grandpa who was terminally ill. And, we list touch🙂... All of the years there and high school and all, she was always somewhere running in my mind. But somehow as we grew, we got back in touch on Instagram. Two years ago I moved back here for college and somehow managed to meet her once, she was as beautiful as she always was, but we just met in a rush and cut to today, it's been a year and a half since I last met her, we dont talk a lot and obviously I never had the courage to speak to her about how she's always on my mind🙃. I guess I'll have to live with it now, but I've never felt for anyone ever, what I've felt for her❤... This song reminds me of my childhood memories with her...

I’ll tell her before the end of my studies this year that this song represents what I feel for her. We’re so close, laugh together, yet she always feels unreachable and distant because we’re both solitary and independent, like the protagonist of this song. We hide our feelings coldly under a mask of banter, small talk, share photos and so on. This is both our favorite music, we both have a story to tell and write with these lyrics. Whatever it may end up as, I would just like her to know who I REALLY am before the end of the year. Even the tiniest romantic moment with her I’d give up anything for it.
