Thanks for posting this video!!! My son just got assigned to conditional housing in a study lounge at Pritchard. This really helps with planning what to pack! Bummer it doesn't have a sink.
how is pritchard? I got in there for the fall this year
It's an experience for sure haha..... Lot of parties, the 4th floor was trashed a lot, and just crazy. Would definitely look at the Virginia Tech subreddit and just search up "Pritchard" in the subreddit to get some stories. I will say that if you're looking for friends, Pritchard is the best dorm for that probably. Just a lot of different people and lot of events. Hope you'll have fun though!
@@abrara5128 thanks
@@abrara5128 Hey again I found this vid again after my first year and wanted to say thanks for uploading this. Prichard was the best even though I had two fire alarms before my chem final
@@NoNo-ug9xlLmfao no problem, glad to hear it helped, pritchard is certainly something, glad to have escaped 😂
Is there any chance u can take a picture or know of anyone in dorm room 104 in whitehurst? My son starts in the fall n I’m trying to figure out how the room will be set up with his roommate. We’re driving 4 hrs away n want to make sure I bring the right furniture pieces. Also what size crates for in the hutch or top of the armoire . Thanks for your time
Sorry but I cannot take a picture of room 104 or don't know anyone who still lives in Whitehurst! The closest I can get are the pictures on the VT website, which seem to be the average room: housing.vt.edu/experience/YourResidenceHall/HallListing/whitehurst.html. If you want to bring crates (like this one at Target: www.target.com/p/storage-crate-black-room-essentials-8482/-/A-75666888#lnk=sametab), I would recommend somewhere around 9 x 8 x 6 size. It wouldn't really fit in the hutch but you might be able to fit one or two in the closet or just one or two on the floor itself. In general, I would recommend not bringing too much furniture if you can avoid it as the rooms aren't extremely big! I would try to see how big the room is at first and then maybe buy some needed furniture from the Walmart in Christiansburg or somewhere else.
It’ wonderful .. amazing. I like it most. From Dadu
Thanks Dadu!!
Good presentation. I am planning on moving there next year!
